An Incredible tour to Cotopaxi Volcano! - What an incredible trip! We had an amazing time exploring the Cotopaxi volcano, and we owe a huge thanks to our guide, Felipe, for making it such a memorable experience. A big shoutout to the bus driver as well for navigating the rough terrain so smoothly. Although the weather could have been better, the surreal landscape we climbed more than made up for it. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Felipe was fantastic—knowledgeable, caring, and always kept us informed about the day’s plan, as well as, the national park and its ecosystem. He regularly checked in with everyone during the hike to ensure we were handling the altitude well. Even on a cloudy day, the view was breathtaking—it felt like we were in another world. Our guide Felipe also made the experience even more well-rounded. As we drove, he shared some history of Ecuador, Quito, and Cotopaxi Volcano. Though the ride was long, it was broken into segments with stops for snacks, breakfast, and lunch. The final 15 minutes were off-road, but the vehicle was comfortable, and even those prone to motion sickness felt okay. We enjoyed lake views, visited a museum, and learned a lot. The hike itself was short but challenging. When we reached the base camp, we enjoyed hot chocolate, took some photos, and then began our descent, which was easier and quicker. The views were unforgettable! Hiking boots are a must! On the way back, we had a lovely vegetarian meal and had fun feeding llamas at the restaurant. The view was stunning, with a clear sight of Cotopaxi in the distance. I highly recommend this hike—though short, it's challenging and a great introduction if you ever want to summit the volcano 🌋 :) Don’t forget to bring sunglasses, a winter hat, a raincoat, gloves, and maybe hiking poles. We’re already looking forward to returning in a couple of years to climb Cotopaxi again—hopefully with Felipe as our guide! 😊

Chill'in On A Volcano - Really fun trip and a great way to meet and bond with new people. The guide was knowledgeable and gave a lot of interesting information along the way. As someone who grew up in a cold place I would definitely recommend you bundle up though; the wind makes the cold much colder than it would otherwise be.

An awesome day - We did this Cotopaxi National Park day trip on our 1st full day in Quito/Ecuador, and it was the perfect way to kick off our trip. Our driver was Jimmy and our guide was Irene. Irene is so full of positive energy! She is engaging, passionate to share her love for Ecuador, funny, knowledgeable, and she was one of our highlights of the day. It was a very cloudy day and our hike to Basecamp was very very windy and very snowy (which we heard is atypical for this time of year), but it made the experience cooler. Irene checked-in with everyone often to make sure we were feeling okay with the altitude. The skies finally cleared up just as we were leaving the Park, and Jimmy and Irene let us stop so that we could finally get the photos of Cotopaxi volcano that we were all hoping for. The day ended with a lunch (price not included in the trip) at a quaint local restaurant. We would highly recommend this day trip and Irene to anyone!

Cotopaxi in a day - I made a last minute decision to hit Cotopaxi and so glad I did. Everything about this tour was easy, well thought out, and enjoyable. Veronica brought great energy and knowledge and helped the group feel at ease. Our van was nice and our driver was clearly a pro. The vibe is laid back but I had confidence that if anything went amiss with the hike or otherwise the team would be ready to spring into action. I seldom do organized tours but this made Cotopaxi in a day feel manageable and safer than attempting solo. Added bonus that all the others in the group were great. Recommend!

Cotopaxi bus tour - Very nice views of Cotopaxi Volcano and the area. We were so lucky to have an excellent tour guide Irene ❣️. Irene is so knowledgeable and helpful she made our tour a great, positive experience. We personally got a bit headache climbing up cause of high altitude so it was a bit challenge
