Fantastic experience! - I had the most amazing time on this tour. Vero was a wonderful guide, providing great information throughout the entire trip in Spanish and English, and also giving us helpful tips at each moment of the experience. The hike up Cotopaxi was spectacular and our time in the museum prior to was also really helpful as Vero helped provide a lot of context and information about the volcano in relation to the rest of Ecuador. Andrés, our driver, was amazing and we all felt safe trekking throughout Quito city and to the volcano. Highly recommend this experience!

Cotopaxi hike - Today we (my husband and I) completed the Cotopaxi Volcano full day tour with Diana as the guide and Jimmy as the driver. We had a amazing day! Our group was very kind and polite! One should be in good shape or use to elevation before adventuring. Diana made sure everyone was taken care of, and has a wise soul! We are very grateful to explore Ecuador, and very thankful to cross paths with Diana and Jimmy for our day in Cotopaxi! Thank you for your generous service to tourists!

Cotopaxi volcano - The hike up to refugio Jose Rivas was great even though we couldn't see much because of the clouds. Eri, our guide, was very informative, funny, and a joy to be with for the day.

Amazing day at Cotopaxi! - Our tour of Cotopaxi was amazing! Our guide, Adrian, was knowledgeable, encouraging, and very professional. He kept us all motivated on the hike up to the Refugio and throughout the trip. Mauricio was an excellent driver handling the roads through Cotopaxi NP with care. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We saw the peak AND multiple condor sightings. A truly special day.

Cotopaxi tour - We took the Cotopaxi tour with Best Trips Ecuador and our tour guide was Adrian and driver Andreas. Adrian was a very knowledgeable and fun guide. He described each sight and step of the tour clearly and provided physical help during the difficult climb up Cotopaxi during the windy and wet ascent / descent. We highly recommend him! The driver also skillfully and safely took us through the city and mountain terrain. The tour is fun but requires a level of fitness as the ascent is steep and some may be affected by altitude sickness. The food following the hike was simple but delicious. Vegetarian options we available and well done.

Amazing tour hiking and learning about Cotopaxi from Adrian - Really enjoyed this trip. I traveled solo. The communication about logistics from Grace was very clear and prompt. Our guide Adrian was absolutely fantastic. I learned a lot about the history of the park, the animals, vegetation, etc. Adrian would also throw in some famous quotes from historical Ecuadoreans which was a great touch/made me feel like I was getting an authentic experience. The stop for breakfast and lunch were very nice and reasonably priced. Super fun to feed the llamas of course as well. As far as the hiking goes, Adrian did a great job preparing us multiple times about what to expect , safety precautions, the direction we would take, and what to do if you wanted to go back to the car. I appreciated he stayed in the middle of the group so people up front (myself included) and the people in the back could feel confident as we could all see him in the middle. Definitely pack warm weather clothing, and there’s a stop to pick up anything you need if you forgot something. Loved getting to see this volcano, thanks again to Adrian!
