BALTRA – SANTA CRUZ ISLAND – ISABELA ISLAND

Isabela Island - Today marks the beginning of your Galapagos Multisport adventure. Ensure you book an early flight to Baltra Airport to fully enjoy the scheduled activities.

Upon arrival at Baltra Airport, an English-speaking guide will escort you to Puerto Ayora for lunch. Afterward, you’ll take a 2-hour speedboat ride to Isabela Island. Be prepared with a light waterproof jacket and motion sickness medication if needed. Once on Isabela Island, a driver will take you to your hotel. If your flight arrives after 12:00 PM, the itinerary may vary slightly. Please inform our staff if your flight is scheduled to arrive after noon.

SIERRA NEGRA ACTIVE VOLCANO TREK – CONCHA PERLA SNORKEL

Isabela Island - In the morning, embark on a journey to the Sierra Negra Volcano, which has the world’s second-largest crater, located 13 miles from Puerto Villamil. A 45-minute bus ride will take you to the starting point of a rewarding hike, with a box lunch provided at the volcano. After the trek, enjoy a brief rest at the hotel before heading to Concha Perla for snorkeling or swimming, where you can see colorful fish, sea lions, and possibly a sea turtle.

BREEDING CENTER – WALL OF TEARS – ISLET TINTORERAS

Isabela Island - After breakfast, you’ll be picked up from your hotel for a bike ride to the Giant Tortoise Breeding Center and the historic Wall of Tears, constructed by prisoners between 1946 and 1959 during Isabela’s penal colony period. Return for lunch before an afternoon sail to Tintoreras Islet, named after the white-tip sharks known as Tintoreras. Here, you can see penguins, sea lions, and marine iguanas, and snorkel with sharks and a variety of fish.

KAYAK IN PUERTO VILLAMIL – ISABELA ISLAND HIGHLANDS

Isabela Island - Today, you’ll head to the bay of Puerto Villamil with your guide for a kayaking trip along the coast, where you can observe and photograph marine iguanas, sea lions, and penguins. After a short break, return to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll bike to the top of the island to visit Cave Sucre, the Mango viewpoint, and Campo Duro, where you can see giant tortoises in their natural habitat.

TRANSFER OUT – BALTRA

Galápagos Ecologic Airport - Today marks the end of your Galapagos Multisport adventure. Early in the morning, you’ll take a public speedboat from Isabela Island to Santa Cruz Island at 6:00 AM. A breakfast-to-go will be provided. Upon arrival in Puerto Ayora, a Spanish-speaking driver will transport you to the Itabacca Channel and assist you in getting back to Baltra Island for your flight.

This 5-day Galapagos Multisport tour is full of adventurous activities like kayaking, snorkeling, biking, and hiking. You will stay 4 nights on Isabela Island. During these active adventures, you will observe plenty of wildlife like playful sea lions, giant manta rays, colorful tropical fish, Giant tortoises, and even more spectacular Galapagos species. Small-Group: The tour can start every day of the year. You will both go on group day tours and private day tours. For the group day tours, every day you will join different groups, with different guests. Every group tour has a different guide. During the private day tours, one guide will accompany you and your travel party. No other guests will join these tours.

• It is recommended to book flights with an early arrival time to the Galapagos Islands and a late departure time from the Galapagos Islands to make sure you can enjoy all of the activities of the tour. Late arrivals and/or early departures mean you might miss some activities.
• If your flight is delayed or canceled and you cannot make it to Puerto Ayora in time to take the last speedboat to Isabela Island, which departs around 02:00 PM, the team assist you with finding accommodation on Santa Cruz Island but this will be on your own expense. You will miss the planned activities.
• There are no guides on the transportation by public speedboat between islands.
• Try to only bring small baggage/bags since public transportation on the Galapagos Islands is quite small.
• Tap water on the Galapagos Islands might contain bacteria and should not be consumed, not even for brushing your teeth. Bottled or purified water is always recommended.
• Inform yourself about food safety when traveling to tropical countries. Take the necessary precaution to avoid food poisoning (always wash your hands before eating, don’t eat ‘street food’, only eat peeled fruits, etc.).
• It is important to have valid travel and medical insurance. Please inform us of any known medical conditions you have.
• The operator reserves the right to change the itinerary without previous notice due to weather conditions, availabilities, National Park regulations or notifications and unforeseeable circumstances.
• It is possible that pictures will be taken during your tour, so it is recommended to bring a USB.
• A current valid passport is required on the day of travel
