Arrival and First Impressions

As I stepped off the plane at Baltra Airport, the warm, salty breeze of the Galapagos Islands enveloped me, and I felt an immediate connection to this unique archipelago. The journey from the airport to Santa Cruz Island was a seamless transition into a world where nature reigns supreme. The lush greenery of the highlands and the sight of giant tortoises roaming freely at Rancho El Chato set the tone for the adventure that lay ahead.
