• Kom Ombo - Kom Ombo is an agricultural village in Egypt with a population of about 60,000 on the east bank of the Nile River, 40 km north of Aswan and 165 km south of Luxor. There is a large Nubian population from the south, displaced by the construction of Lake Nasser.
