- Temple of Horus - Guests will be picked up from their hotel in Luxor and transported by a private air-conditioned vehicle to Edfu, approximately a 50-minute drive south of Luxor. Upon arrival in Edfu, visitors can explore the magnificent Temple of Edfu, one of the most impressive and well-preserved ancient Egyptian temples, dedicated to the god Horus. Located on the western bank of the Nile, its construction began under Ptolemy III (246–221 BC) in 237 BC and was completed during the reign of Ptolemy XII (80–51 BC) in 57 BC, taking 180 years to finish.
- Temple of Kom Ombo - A 45-minute drive from Edfu brings visitors to Kom Ombo. Upon arrival, guests will be transferred to see the Kom Ombo Temple. The name “Kom Ombo” comes from the Arabic “kum” meaning ‘mound’ and “Ombo,” derived from the ancient Egyptian “Nubt,” meaning ‘the golden city.’ The temple is dedicated to two deities: the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Har wer (Horus the Elder). Although an earlier temple existed here during the New Kingdom (c. 1550–1069 BC), the current structure was built during the Graeco-Roman Period (332 BC–395 AD), with the earliest royal name being Ptolemy VI Philometor (180–145 BC). Most of the temple’s decoration was completed by Ptolemy XII Neos Dionysos (80–51 BC).
Afterward, guests will be transferred back to their hotel in Luxor.
