Hop on, hop off Green bus - I had an afternoon to spare in Edinburgh, (travelling solo). I jumped on a green hop on hop off bus and had a great afternoon. I went round the full circuit listening to one tour guide and found it really informative. I then did it again with different tour guides but stopped off in several different places. H2 guide had something a little bit different to add they were very friendly and the buses were easy to use I would recommend recommend it.

Bright bus tour - It was a lovely tour on the bright bus. The commentary was lovely. We were told about each stop and what was available if we got off there.

Terrible service - Avoid at all costs, after purchasing a 24 hour tour ticket, we where told the city tour was a 10 minute service, far from the truth, on the Sunday we waited over 45 mins for a bus in that time there was 4 red buses from another bus company when the bus finally appeared there was no form of explanation offered, driver ignored me when I asked what the delay was, once we got to waterloo place I approached other members of staff and was ignored again! Most of the drivers the on the Saturday where polite apart from one young man who had a terrible attitude and drove like he was on a formula one race track, he had a baseball cap on back to front and shorts on looked like he didn't want to be there.
