An amazing time around Skye - My partner and I did a trip with Scotland's Wild up to the Isle of Skye in the week between Christmas and New Years. I couldn't recommend it highly enough. The guide - Jim - was fantastic, personable, knowledgeable, and so accommodating of our requests to stop for photos of the landscape when the weather cleared for glimpses of the highlands. Winter isn't the best time to go to avoid the rain, unfortunately, but we still had an awesome time seeing everything we could. Afterwards, we agreed we preferred to remember (and perhaps romanticise) Scotland this way - with less people and wilder weather. The only let down was not getting to see the Glenfinnan Viaduct due to the weather cancelling the ferry, but these things happen. It gives us an excuse to come back!

Solo Travel to the Isle of Skye - We had an amazing time with Ailsa on our 3-day Isle of Skye tour. We got to see so many amazing sites across the Highlands and Isle of Skye in a short timeframe. The small group made the trip much more enjoyable than normal tour groups. I felt completely comfortable as a solo traveler and think this would be a great option for travelers in groups of 1-4. If you don’t get a selfie with at least one sheep and do the Old Man of Storr hike you’re missing out!

Best trip and tour guide! - This was a fantastic trip. SO many things to see and do, and the weather was wonderful, even for October. And what made it even better was we had the best guide ever, Lauren, who was just absolutely wonderful. She really participated in everything we did and had so many great stories and suggestions of places to go and see. Absolutely the best and most fun guide. It was sad when our group had to depart!

Absolutely amazing experience in the Highlands and on Skye - I had a fantastic time traveling to Skye with Scotland's Wild. If you're into history and folklore, you will have a fantastic time with Owen, who guided the tour with ease, tons of knowledge and a fantastic sense of humour. Booking a tour in Scotland in the middle of October can be risky, but even when the weather didn't play along, we always had a great time. Have you even been to Scotland if you didn't get pelted by sideways rain while dunking you face into a cold stream to gain eternal beauty through the means of fairy magic? I would argue no. If it is any consolation, you will be rewarded with lots and lots of rainbows. Traveling in a small group (8 of us plus our tour guide), you'll almost feel like you're on a private tour. It is the way to go! I would recommend this tour and Scotland's Wild in general to absolutely every single person who wants to go to Scotland.

True Highland Hospitality - From the begining to the end, this tour was fantastic. Our tour guide Ailsa did an amazing job driving us through the Scottish Highlands and telling us the story behind each amazing view. The transportation was very comfortable. The tour had everything we could want. From mountains, glens and lochs to ferry trips, hairy cows and ancient castles, we can say we really got to knew Scotland through Ailsa's glaswegian accent. Couldn't be better. Thank you.

Experience full of exciting discoveries and special places - Journey to discover not only Skye at the center of the second day but also the most spectacular points of the Highlands with the possibility of taking unique photographs. Every day a different experience, with Ailsa guiding us with ability in all the places we met. Getting to the top of the Old Man of Storr was the highlight of the trip.

So much fun, highly recommend! - We did this tour recently and absolutely loved it! Our tour guide Lauren was sensational - she went above and beyond to cater to everyone’s interests and maximise the experience. We had a good amount of time at each stop and were able to see quite a lot in a short period. Lauren provided loads of recommendations and advice too which we really appreciated. She made our time so enjoyable! I would suggest thought that if your group are not so flexible, would prefer to keep to yourselves and have specific preferences, doing a private tour would be better to cater to your exact needs. Otherwise I highly recommend this experience and would definitely return! Thank you again Lauren!!
