- Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park - Our visit to Scotland’s largest (and perhaps most famous) loch will include a visit to Luss, a conservation village and we’ll get a hot drink from a local cafe
- Inveraray - The historic town of Inveraray will be yours to explore - you can visit a pub from the 1700’s, see the imposing Inveraray Castle, sit by the banks of Loch Fyne, or browse the shops in the town centre
- St Conan’s Kirk - This quirky church has a fascinating story behind it and gorgeous views of Loch Awe
- Kilchurn Castle - We’ll take a short walk out to this gorgeous ruined castle and you might see a highland cow or two!
- Glencoe - Sweeping Glencoe has some of Scotland’s most incredible scenery. We’ll stop to gaze at some of the incredible views of the highland hills and stop at a local pub
- Glenfinnan Viaduct - Glenfinnan is famous for hosting two Harry Potter filming locations: its iconic bridge and the Hogwarts Lake. However, historically its an important place as its where Bonnie Prince Charlie arrived in 1745 to lead the Jacobite uprising and restore himself to the British throne!

Today, you’ll embark on a highland road trip from the city of Edinburgh, visiting beautiful spots in the Scottish highlands that aren’t reachable by public transport. As we journey to the highlands, you’ll hear fascinating stories about Scotland and sample some local snacks. Our first stop will be Loch Lomond, where you can capture stunning photos of one of Scotland’s most picturesque lochs. We’ll make several stops for photos and short walks near a ruined castle and enjoy some free time in the historic town of Inveraray. Next, we’ll head to the breathtaking Glencoe, known for its ancient, moody hills and serene atmosphere that have inspired films and folklore. You’ll experience the best of Scottish hospitality and immerse yourself in the local culture, history, scenery, and a few local delicacies. Travel times are included in the tour duration, and private tours are also available.
