Highlights

Edinburgh - Loch Ness

Forth Road Bridge - As we head out of Edinburgh, catch a glimpse of the impressive Forth Road Bridges.

Dunkeld - Our first stop of the day is Dunkeld in the heart of Perthshire. Known for its 13th century cathedral, this is the perfect spot to fuel up with a coffee and pastry from a charming local bakery.

Clava Cairns - Visit one of the inspirations behind Outlander - the Clava Cairns standing stones! These stones stand proudly at 10 feet tall and are known for being a bronze age burial ground.

Culloden Battlefield - One of the most somber locations in Scotland, Culloden Battlefield remains mostly untouched to pay respect to those who lost their lives in the final Jacobite Uprising of 1746.

Loch Ness - Our final stop of the day is Loch Ness - see if you can spot Nessie!

Loch Ness - Loch Ness

Eilean Donan Castle - Our first stop of day 2 is at Eilean Donan Castle; the most photographed castle in Scotland and home to Clan Macleod.

Sligachan Old Bridge - According to legend, the waters under Sligachan Old Bridge offer eternal youth. Why not give it a go for yourself?

Portree - Enjoy some free time in Portree to grab some lunch and have a wander around.

The Old Man of Storr - Climb the Old Man of Storr for one of the best views in Scotland. Skye is full of legends and faerie stories, and this is the perfect spot to see the magic for yourself.

Kilt Rock - Next we visit Kilt Rock, known for resembling - you’ve guessed it - a kilt. It’s the perfect spot to breathe some sea air and snap a photo of the impressive Mealt Falls before heading back to Fort Augustus for the night.

Dundreggan Rewilding Centre - Visit to the Dundreggan Rewilding Center for a rejuvenating stroll through Scotland’s historic pine woodland. Discover the efforts of the charity Trees for Life, committed to rewilding the Caledonian Forest, which now comprises only 1% of its original expanse.

Loch Ness - Edinburgh

Commando Monument - We make a stop at the Commando Memorial dedicated to the men of the original British Commando Forces raised during World War II. Look out for Ben Nevis in the distance.

Spean Bridge - We make a comfort stop in Spean Bridge before continuing our journey back to the lowlands.

Glencoe - Next, one of the most iconic sights in Scotland - Glencoe. Known for its dramatic peaks, Glencoe is one of the most ethereal spots in Scotland. Hear about the legend of the 3 sisters, and the backdrop famously used in the Skyfall movie.

Scottish Highlands - We stop for lunch in a charming Highland village before the final leg of our tour.

The Kelpies & The Helix - Our last stop is in Falkirk to see the 30m tall steel horse heads which represent the shapeshifting and majestic Kelpies.

12/10 tour of the highlands - Everything about this trip was great, good events, Steve was a phenomenal guide, whatever he is paid it isn't enough. Good amount of time for activities, so we never really felt rushed. That said it could easily be turned into a 4 day tour.

Scotland tour with Torva = perfection 👍🏽 - What a great tour!! Loved every moment of it. The weather was unpredictable and perfect. Torva was a fantastic guide. So many fantastic stories and he could easily record a podcast of him telling these. Highly recommend this tour if you are looking to experience Scotland and learn more about what makes this country so wonderful.

Experience packed 3 days - The excellent tour guide made the trip! Tim is a great story teller and knowledgeable about the history of the area. Accommodations were good. Too bad the ferry was out, but no bother. Tim entertained us with stories about giants and fairies for the extra 3 hour drive to the bridge.no worries about rain, this is typical Scotland. I give this tour and guide all of the stars

Great Tours; Lots of History and Gorgeous Sights/Sites all along the way! Excellent Guide! - This year I decided to do three Haggis Adventures in one week: the West Highland one day trip from Edinburgh, the one-day Lochs, Castles and Kelpies (also from Edinburgh), and the three-day Wild Skye and Loch Ness Hunter. I loved all three of the tours and would like to mention especially that my Scottish guide, Martin, whom I had the good fortune of spending four days with (including the three-day Wild Skye Adventure) was excellent. He had a very likeable demeanor and provided interesting information and stories all along the way, with breaks for Scottish music in between. He was also an excellent driver and was very generous in taking us to special "off piste" destinations, such as all the way to the top of Skye, which was a real treat. Thank you so much, Martin! I hope to have you for my multi-day tour next year of the Outer Hebrides!

A Misty and Magical Highland Adventure - We loved this tour. The rain and mist added to the magic of the trip Our trip on the 18-20 November was wet , a wee bit windy and wonderful Our young tour guide Karis was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable, full of historical information and wonderful folk tales and legends. She was also a capable and confident driver . Karis was able to take us to places a bigger bus wouldn’t have been able to get to. She even surprised us with hot drinks and shortbread. Thanks Karis, we loved our highland adventure

You’ll love this trip. Highly recommend. - Went on the three day tour starting out from Edinburgh bus station. Easy to manage and information was communicated clearly and often. Jada was our driver and guide. Remarkable person. Kind. Smart. Patient. Knowledgeable. Funny. She made the trip so much fun. Jacobite steam train was great! A throwback. Really special. Plus the ferry out of Malliag was so cool. Beautiful views. Portree was a fun town. Hotel was great! Never had such good food. People were super nice and welcoming. They were so kind to my father who has some mobility issues. I highly recommend this trip. Affordable too.
