Best way to see the Castle! - We really enjoyed our tour with Euan! He had a fun way of explaining the history - which was entertaining and informative! I would recommend this as a way of getting into the castle rather than just purchasing tickets and going on your own. What I did not realize when I booked the tour is that once the guided portion is over - you can spend as much time as you want exploring inside the castle, the museum, etc. We booked something else after the tour because we thought it was only the 90 minutes. We were able to see a few things but did not make it to the museum. So plan for extra time and enjoy it!

lovely - apart from weather, that was not in their hands, it was a lovely experience. Sophie made stories come to life with her enthusiasm and energy. History became suddenly more fascinating. I only wish we were aware that most of the tour will be happening outdoor for almost whole hour, we would get ready better. Thank you 🩷

This little company gives an excellent experience! - This is a wonderful tour to get an overview history of the castle. Our guide, Ella, was an excellent storyteller and very knowledgeable about the castle. She guided us around the outside of the castle buildings, giving us plenty of insight, then after an hour and a half, cut us loose to go explore the buildings we wanted to, for as long as they were open. I would highly recommend this tour!

A Bit of History and a Lot of Fun - My wife and I were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and our trip to Scotland was our grand adventure. We looking forward to seeing the castle, but our guide Steph made the experience even better. Steph was very local, informative and a great bit of fun. We enjoyed her sense of humor and her grasp of Scottish history added so much to the tour. We felt the tour was well worth the money and would recommend any friends to take it and ask for Steph.

Amazing first time in a castle - We had English Ben as our guide abs he was great! We did the Royal Mile your first and then the castle tour and got so much more out of it that way. I really liked the 90 minutes talking about highlights and then going into the museums abs things after. Give yourself at least an hour after the tour to stay and look around more.
