Best self-guided experience I have tried! - LOVED THIS! I have been in Edinburgh before, and wanted to explore in a new the city in a new way. I have tried the ghost tour, the catacomb tour and wanted something different, and THIS got scratched the itch! DO THIS! I got to play an investigator on my own terms, meaning I did not have to solve the mystery at a specifik time schedule, since it was self-guided! So it was easy to fit in my travel schedule. Highly recommend!

Best self-guided experience I have tried! - This is a genius experience. We wanted to explore Edinburgh, but we didn't want the tourist experience. We wanted to do something fun! This selv-guided mystery walk was just perfect! We got really into it, and felt like true detectives, noting down all details we where given while exploring, and had a passionate discussion about who we thought was the culprit in the end! We even got to read the real story of what really happened. The aspect of this experience being built over real true crime happenings, might have been what made the experience truly fascinating. 10/10 reccomend!

Mistitled activity and payment scam - Paid for 3 while we simply collect an envelope with a set of tracks, a payment for one person was enough... the place of collection is very badly indicated, it is in fact the central transport office... the title of the activity is confusing, it is not a visit of the castle but a set of tracks in the old town .. very disappointed

Misleading title - This tour was very misleading. When we booked this tour we was thinking it would also get us in the castle. We found out that it didn’t once we tried to get in, but found out that the castle was sold out. So we paid for this and couldn’t get in to do the self-guided mystery tour. So for us it was a waste of money.

Very misleading - Terrible misleading experience, thinking we got tickets to the castle to do a self guided tour however paid $200 for a piece of paper to go outside the castle. Very very disappointed.
