Once you’ve indulged your sweet tooth at our opening venue, we’ll stroll casually through the Grassmarket, up Victoria Street, one of Edinburgh’s most captured and cherished locations. We won’t miss to highlight various eateries, boutiques, bars, and other attractions for you to visit during your stay in Edinburgh. Our second stop, situated near the Royal Mile, offers us a mouthwatering selection of chocolate, jam-filled, and other types of donuts at Mòr Bakery, closely accompanied by a familial bakery serving traditional Scottish pastries that you’re sure to relish.

Following a quick photography break, we’ll venture towards our last venue, a unique cafe and donutterie.

Great tour - Ignas was a perfect guide, he gave us a really instructional tour with good advices for places to visit and restaurants. We came for the donuts but actually fell in love with the scottish scones, weird choice according to Ignas haha. This was a really pleasant tour, thanks again to our guide and to the bakeries we visited !

Fun tour filled with donuts and knowledge - The tour was informative and our guide Ignas was very accommodating to our needs. The donut shops we visited had a varied selection of donuts and none had the same. Between shops Ignas gave us insights on events that had taken place in the area and the meanings/history of various markers, symbols and statues. He also gave us suggestions on dining and shopping. Overall a very filling experience!

Fun, interesting and yummy tour with Grace! - Such a sweet way to kick off our Edinburgh visit! Grace was a charming guide and shared loads of interesting stories and facts about the places we went. All the bake shops were lovely and coming from the States, it was a delight to try so many "new" types of flavors - our faves were the cronuts and the traditional Scottish-flavoured Cranachan. Highly recommend...but come hungry!

Dough-not miss this tour! - So much fun for kids and adults! Adults learned tons of history, our young son was engaged as our tour guide Ignes asked him what he thought about various parts of the old town, plus, hello, doughnuts!!! Our guide also gave us recommendations on local restaurants and was so enjoyable. He was sensitive to the weather (cold and rainy!!) and made sure we had lots of places to stop under cover. Great tour.

Edinburgh's Dark History with a Side of Donuts - Learn about the rampant torturing and executions in Edinburgh while eating donuts. Sugary & sinister. 😄 We really enjoyed it!

Unique tour with Andre - This tour was brilliant! I learned so much about Edinburgh; Andre is very knowledgeable and passionate about Scotland, and he shone a light on details I would never notice on my own just walking around town. There are a lot of hidden gems in Edinburgh and such a rich, fascinating history that makes you travel in time. The tour was even more delicious while having coffee and donuts along the way. Special mention to Room and Rumours, a cool place with even cooler donuts. Lucky for us, the weather was nice, and I got to take lots of beautiful pictures. It is a very original experience that you won't find anywhere else.

Amazing donut tour with Ignas! - The Edinburgh Donut Tour was absolutely incredible! Our guide, Ignas, had so many interesting stories to share about Edinburgh's history. From medieval times to today's longstanding Scottish traditions, Ignas had everything covered! His enthusiasm and passion for storytelling made this tour very captivating and he made the stories come alive. I now have a whole new perception of Grassmarket and I will not be forgetting about Maggie Dickon's life story any time soon! We also got to taste some delicious donuts, especially those from Kilted Donuts. Ignas also gave great recommendations of things to do in Edinburgh and places to eat which I am very thankful for and I'm eager to try them out.

Sweet treats and Edinburgh experience - What a great experience! Our guide Ignas was super friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable! We also got to try some of the best donuts I've ever had in Edinburgh!! The Kilted Donut is a firm favourite, but Mimi's bakehouse Cheese and Chive scone rounded off this quintessential Scottish experience perfectly. Getting to see Edinburgh with sweet treats along the way is one of the most perfect ways to spend a day.
