Check In Early! - The Ghost Bus Tour of Edinburgh takes place on a vintage double decker tour type of bus. Our tour filled up, so there weren't any spare seats available. We checked in 15 minutes early and the upstairs portion of the bus was already full. Also, we went a bit late into the evening and many places we saw were just quite dark. I'm sure what we were there to see was out there, somewhere, in that great mass of darkness. That being said, the tour itself was quite lovely and our guide was very fun. It's a solid kitschy, Halloweeny, kind of tour. There's a lot of fun morbid facts sprinkled throughout. At one point we stopped to see the back end of Edinburgh Castle, which was well lit up at night, and the spot we stopped our group had all to ourselves. Overall, I'd recommend this tour, especially around the month of October.

Fun thing to do at the end of a day’s exploring ! - We booked the Sat night bus for 9pm as only availability. We were lucky enough to get seats right at the front upstairs on the black routemaster so we were delighted. The conductor Chris (Ghost hunter Hume) was really funny and told lots of spooky tales as we poodled along the roads! We got off once on front of Edinburgh Castle. I was disappointed we didn’t get off at St Cuthbert’s cemetery but think it’s a council decision not to allow this. All in all it was great fun and a hilarious experience. Loved our photos with the conductor too!

Ghost bus was great fun - Great fun. Our guide was Tommy Terror and he was excellent and engaging and told us about ghosts and murderers around the route. There were some fun happenings on the screen we were watching and we got off for ten minutes at St Cuthbert graveyard and church. Definitely recommend this. Lasted just over an hour

Loved it! - It was one of the best and most entertaining moments of my life! It scared the life out of my youngest who normally can handle jump scares. Tommy handled it brilliantly and my son managed to sleep at night. Overall fantastic experience and I will be crowing about it to my friends and colleagues as one of THE things to do in Edinburgh.

So much fun! - Not as scary as expected but SO MUCH FUN! We had a blast with Edgar and Francis. It was a great way to spend the evening. Also, we won a book with a trivia question. Unexpected awesomeness!

Spooky fun experience - Our bus conductor gave us a fabulous history of grizzly goings on around Edinburgh, with a few clever twists on the usual ghost tour experiences too. The bus is quite distinctive and sets the tone nicely. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening, and learned some things at the same time. If you like this sort of thing, would recommend giving this a try. Good fun 👍
