Great experience - Just plain good fun!! So much effort is put into it, it’s quite spooky and jumpy on times but a good laugh.

Great family tour - Went with our 7 year old and it hit the spot. Creepy and funny without being too scary. Lots of grizzly facts about Edinburgh and a stop at the city’s oldest graveyard to learn about body snatching. Tommy Terror and Uncle Angus were excellent

A Spooky Gem - So glad we took in one last activity before we went home. We learned so much and laughed so hard on this wee trip around the city, and went home full of spooky stories in our heads. If you have an hour and a bit to spare, this is a great way of combining the sights, having a giggle, and learning. The guide and driver were fab, and I really think you should see how great it is for yourself :)

Spoookey ride - Was a funny tour. Was cool to travel by the ghostly bus. I got some good photos, creepy especially at night! Was all very fitting with the scenery. Well informative of some parts of the city.

Good but only if you’re with for kids who enjoy such stuff - Although the tour itself was well organized and informative, we found it to be a bit over the top. Maybe good if you’re with kids but not that engaging for adults. The main benefit turned out to be that we travelled through quite a lot of the city - but if you’re really looking to see the city, a city tour might be more suited.

Avoid at all costs - This was a complete and total waste of money. There is so much history in Edinburgh that is intriguing and haunting. The extreme theatrics to which we were subjected were entirely unnecessary and amateurish. The audio video presentation looked like a school project by someone in primary school. The bus was old and stuffy, even more so when they filled it with theatrical smoke during the “seance” Better to spend that money on a fake kilt.

Dead On Arrival... - We arrived 5 minutes early and left as planned. That's where the credit due ends. We were introduced to "Spooky Samuel" as our conductor for the trip and we were immediately transported into a GCSE drama performance. The ad-libbing around a convoluted script mixed with a character voice that combines a drunk Alan Carr with bubbles from Little Britain was terribly cringe-worthy. If you think that sounds bad, it's worse. We made a stop at a graveyard where all he did was shout to convey "fear" for 5 minutes and then fell silent because he "saw a ghost" and ran back to the bus. The underlying story however was also weak. An old lady dying on the bus and someone on board was "in her seat". These jumpscares and narrations all through a laptop or computer system were operated by the actor but with a camera feed focusing on him, watching him attempt to start these cues was painful, each was missed. To say this was "Horror-comedy" is an insult to both genres. A waste of time and money. Please, please visit Edinburgh, it's a beautiful place but avoid this like the plague.

Incredibly disappointing experience - I must express my deep disappointment with my recent experience on the Ghost Bus Tour in Edinburgh. Having lived in Edinburgh for several years and explored various tours, including ghost tours, I had high hopes for this particular experience when a friend came to visit. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the most disappointing tours I've encountered not only in Edinburgh but across Europe. To begin with, the cleanliness of the bus was appalling. The tables and floors were disgustingly filthy, with our table strewn with pieces of shortbread. This lack of basic cleanliness set a negative tone from the outset. Moreover, the tour provided inaccurate information on several occasions. They fabricated stories about the history of the beloved Bobby dog and even claimed that J.K. Rowling drew inspiration from an Edinburgh street for the surname of the famous wizard. Such misinformation not only detracted from the experience but also eroded the tour's credibility. Instead of offering a well-researched and informative experience, the tour seemed fixated on narrating a bizarre tale about a supposed old lady who died inside the bus and was haunting it. This narration was accompanied by tacky sound effects and irrelevant, unsettling images. Additionally, a pre-recorded voice named "Angus the driver," characterized by an over-exaggerated and kind of a mock of a Scottish accent, continuously interrupted with nonsensical remarks about the aforementioned old lady, whom they made a point of mentioning multiple times that she smelled like cat pee. Furthermore, the tour guide made quite untasteful jokes about his grandma, further detracting from the overall experience. In summary, I strongly advise against wasting your money on the Ghost Bus Tour in Edinburgh. It does not contribute positively to the tourism of the city, and any other tour will provide you with a far more pleasant and elaborated experience.

A very strange experience (in a bad way) - The tour was quite good for the first half, but then the tour guide started threatening to kick various groups off the bus for talking to one another. All in all a rather surreal experience. I suspect if you manage to get another tour guide you will probably have a great trip!

When we got off the first... - When we got off the first stop we just never returned. It was awful, couldn't listen to that man anymore. Didn't even find him funny
