Spontaneous Ghost and Gore Tour - We stumbled upon a flyer from the Ghost and Gore Walking Tour at the Witchery restaurant and decided to book it spontaneously. Best decision we made! The tour was so much fun. A great combination of history and some small jumpscares that weren't frightening but definitely added to the experience. We had wonderful guides who were really funny and made the evening a big success. Would definitely recommend!

Brilliant and funny - Brilliant Ghost & Gore tour. Our tour guide Alexander Clapperton Deceased was very knowledgeable and funny. It was set at a good pace with lots of true gruesome stories. The other characters were very funny and gave us a couple of jump scares but it was very funny and good for families.

MY THANK YOU TO TWO WONDERFUL PEOPLE - I speak as someone who didn't go on the tour, but whose wife did (City were playing that night - a 0-0 at home to Inter, serves me and my choice right, eh?) can I just tell you that, for reasons which will not interest readers, I soon after realised my wife had left with something I needed, so I went back to the shop and asked directions to where they would first and second be. Despite the sometimes side of K2- like shortcut alleyway steps of Edinburgh, I was not only told where to go but taken personally by the proprietor. Now that is what I call excellent customer (or in my case non-customer) service. Thus I implore anyone not sure as to whether to take this walk or that of a competitor, then please take into account what a wonderfully warm, friendly, helpful delight of a couple we are talking about here in the owners. That alone should surely count for something? They saved my bacon in a way that went way beyond the norm. My thanks will be eternal. As for my wife, she loved it, thought it to be the best of its sort she'd ever been on. She promises that she will one day send her own review but is apparently waiting for some specific link on which to do so. Steve

Probably the best tour in Edinburgh - It was great. Both funny and actually informative. The true history stories about the visited places were always scarier than the tour itself. Also good to note that the performances, acting and storytelling was outstanding and definitely not something anyone would be able to do after just some practice runs. It felt like a work of passion. Very much recommended.

Ghosts & Gore (and a lot of laughs) - A lot of fun, scares and info. An excellent way to explore areas so close to the Mile you never knew existed. The tour guide was great as were all the ghosts we met on the way.

Fantastic! - Learned so much about Edinburgh’s history! All of the characters that ‘helped’ were fab and made the tour really enjoyable. Had a great time even through all the rain.
