Tour of the city and the HMY Britannia. Guides were friendly and very punctual. - We loved the tour of the city on the way to seeing the Britannia. The tour was very well marked and we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch in the tea room. We could’ve even spent a little more time during the boat rush after a few hours to get back on the bus. Lovely day.

Is booking the hop on hop or bus Brittania tours in Edinbourg a good plan? - It is a good way to explore the city. Then you get a good idea of what you want to see! Would recommend it to anyone.

Just what we needed - Great for what my wife and I needed. Some history of the city and transportation from the Britannia station.

Very Enjoyable. - Using the Hop-On-Hop Off tour bus was extremely convenient and inexpensive. You could get a 1 or 2 day pass and use this as often as you wished. It enabled us to see everything at our pace rather than being rushed. Highly recommend this, great way to see all the sights of the city.

Good Value Tour Bus - Did the 24-hour hop-on hop-off with the bright bus tour company. Overall it was quite good. The pre-recorded audio information was good, but it lacked the personal stories that you get from some of the guides on the rival City Sightseeing Tours. This bus doesn't bring you around the parts of the new town that their rivals do which was a shame. Overall, it is very good value for money.

Okay but buses need updating. - Cheaper than rival, but bus was older, often connections were broken, route changed without being informed on the Sunday and some drivers unhelpful - one 'appeared' not to understand English. Buses were frequent and hop on hop off was effective.

Saw a lot but a little confusing. - This route of this bus and where to catch it is very confusing. There are so many different buses in this city,it's hard to discern which to look for. The blue line of this orange bus only runs once an hr while the orange line of this orange bus runs every 15 minutes! Luckily a orange line driver let us just get on his bus so we saw great sights in the city center but not all we wanted to see. Recommend the orange line, orange bus!

Stressful, annoying and frustrating. - The advert for the Tour did not state that there are two different Tours running in Edinburgh. It would have been cheaper to pay direct on the bus. I found using the e-mail links and the App frustrating and stressful. I definitely will not be using this service again.
