Just off the Royal Mile, behind St Giles Cathedral on Parliament Square, you will find the CodE Pod Hostel just past the statue of James Braidwood the fireman. The meeting point is inside the hostel reception area, we'll head underground from there.

Great tour - Great selection of Whiskeys and the location added to the tasting experience. It is a must do when in Edinburgh.

Scotch underground - Great Great Great!

Best whiskey tour! - We got top shelf whiskey to taste! Our guide made the tour fun. He knew lot about whiskey and history. Would like to get this tour again. To taste more whiskey when we visit Edinburgh again!!!

Awesome tasting in the heart of Edinburgh. - Great location in the vaults under the Mile. Wonderful variety of whiskey selections for the tasting. Knowledgeable guide who enjoys her whiskey too!

Great experience! - I unfortunately don't recall our guide's name, but she was fantastic. The meeting place was a hip hostel/cafe, and the experience was well organized. The vaults themselves were below the hostel and easily accessible. The guide did a great job of informing us of the history of the location, injected with a bit of humor along the way. As for the whisky itself, we were both very impressed. We booked the premium selection and I'm glad we did. My husband has tried 100s of whiskys and had never had any of the selection from this tasting, which was impressive! He ended up purchasing a bottle of something we'd never find anywhere else. Overall, I'd recommend this to anyone who's interested in the history of Scotland and in learning more about whisky. Kudos to our guide for a great evening!

Fantastic Experience - Very informative and Nicky was a very passionate and knowledgeable guide. The cellar was a cozy and unique setting. Our group was combined with a Women in Whisky tour, which was more story driven, and while it was highly interesting, we do wish we had heard a bit more about the Luxury Whiskies we were drinking. However, would 100% recommend!

5* Whisky Tasting Experience - This was a fantastic experience I was gifted for a Birthday Present.
Pajh was an amazing host, so entertaining & knowledgeable and made a real effort to engage with tge group & bring us together to share appreciate the various drams!
We opted for the premium whisky that you are unlikely to find elsewhere they were extraordinary!
Would highly recommend & look forward to a return visit :-)
