Great Experience for Whisky Drinkers, from Newbies to Aficionados - Our group of four (two couples) took this tour on the day we arrived in Edinburgh, because we wanted to dive right into the Scottish and whisky culture, and we're so glad we did. Our guide Steven is incredibly knowledgeable about both whisky and Edinburgh, and as most really great walking food/drink tours will do, he did a fantastic job of blending together not only the stories of the whiskies we tried, but the histories of the pubs we visited and the city we were walking through. Such a thoroughly enjoyable introduction to Scotland and Scotch whisky. Very highly recommended!

Whisky Tasting - This was a great experience. Stephen was very informative and very delightful. He provided us with a wonderful experience of whisky tasting and while also providing us with history and/or origins of each bottle. If you are a whisky lover, try this, you will love it as much as did

Great Whisjey Experience! - Stephen did a fantastic job teaching us about Scottish Whiskey and Scotland/Edinburgh in general. He took us to several places to try a wide range of whiskeys and even helped select one for me to take home. He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions! My wife had a great time and she doesn’t normally like whiskey so I would highly recommend this tour if even you don’t like whiskey.

A fountain of knowledge - Steven's knowledge of whiskey and Scotland was amazing. I felt like I could ask a question about virtually anything and Steven would have a well considered reply. I was soaking up information during every moment of the tour. The pubs and drinks were also excellent. This experience was, unquestionably, a highlight of our time in Edinburgh.

Excellent experience - Our host was excellent, he gave history of whisky and history of Edinburgh. It was so well plotted out, we went to old town and new town establishments. Thoroughly enjoyed this whisky experience. Well done Laurie

Excellent and Personable Guide - Allan was an excellent tour guide! Very knowledgeable and witty. He offered good whisky history as well as local context. We had a great time being led around the city and being introduced to some cool local bars. We were sad to hear that our tour would be the final one ever to be conducted, but we were so happy with our experience and Allan made our day!

A Great Tour - This was a great tour, so worth the time. Allan, our host, was friendly, engaging, and very knowledgeable. The tour took us to five different stops and he highlighted the subtleties in each flavor and drink, all while connecting to the histories and stories within. The best part of the tour was that Allan was just as engaging between your stops, filling us in on the history of Edinburgh and what makes it special…architecture, music, etc. It was a level of unexpected depth on the tour that made it memorable. Take the tour. You won’t be disappointed.
