Great craic! - Last weekend friends and I traveled from Ireland for a short break and we booked a tour with Mercat Tours. This is my third time I have taken a tour and every single time it is just as brilliant. Our guide Michael was great craic and very fun but knowledgeable too.
First time using the headphones set up as part of a tour and it was it really immersive especially on the noisey mile.

Best part of our trip to Edinburgh - Absolutely fantastic! Our tour guide Michael was so knowledgeable, fun and kept us entertained and engaged every minute of the tour. We have done the vaults tour previously but Michael really brought history to life. Would definitely recommend to everyone

Edinburgh streets and vaults tour - Thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Edinburgh and its underground secrets. A very knowledgeable guide Shannon regaled the group with tales of witches and ghosts. I highly recommend.

Very nice experience - Allows you to see the city differently in the evening t passages that you would not necessarily take. Marc the Guide was a good meter and took his role to heart. Good humor, too. And especially for me who is not very good in English he articulated very well. I recommend.

The highlight of a wet day in Edinburgh - Whistle stop tour meant we only had a day in Edinburgh.... & it was WET!
The highlight was the brilliant Doomed, Dead & Buried walking tour with our amazing guide Michael. History blended with ghoulish tales, delivered with Michael's noteable theatrical performance. Spooky, funny & although I've visited Edinburgh often, was a whole new perspective. Thoroughly recommend

"Doomed, dead and Buried" - not quite, but close 😁 - This was a fascinating and FUN tour - 02/09/2024.
Our host, Michael, was extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic and brought the tour to life. If this tour was anything to go by I would also thoroughly recommend all their other tours although I've not participated in them.

Edinburgh underground - The tour was very informative and our guide Linda was very knowledgeable with a good sense of humour. I would certainly recommend the tour and if we had more time in Edinburgh we would have done more of their tours.
