So much fun! - My friend and I had a blast on this tour! Joyce had so much great information and played beautiful Scottish songs. She was delightful, and Craig was a great driver. Would recommend!

Spectacular views - Amazing experience, myself and my partner loved this trip, so many places included and the views throughout were spectacular. Our guide, Garry, made the journey so interesting with detailed stories as we past by many locations laced with Scottish history. The long journey felt very safe from start to finish with Brian driving and both were so friendly and engaging, the whole day was wonderful

Fun, Engaging, and full of beautiful sights - Had an amazing tour with Scott as our guide and Cami as our driver. Scott was amazing and kept a fun and enthusiastic flow to the tour that keeps you engaged and very excited to learn more. This is most definitely a tour I would recommend anyone to do while visiting Scotland.

Beautiful trip with a wonderful guide - Lothian Motorcoach with Scott as the guide and Cameron as the driver....this is the way to explore! Lothian provided excellent service and a comfortable coach for the trip which ended up nearly 14 hours. It was expertly driven by Cameron, who never made the passengers feel uneasy about the challenging terrain and roadways. Excellent and professional skills are needed and provided to navigate city streets, narrow country roads, challenging mountain switchbacks, and narrow bridges. Cameron is excellent.
The guide, Scott Shaw, is by far the most entertaining and informative guide I've ever experienced and we travel quite a bit. Scott is excellent providing just the right balance of information, comedy, and entertaining facts that made this adventure tops to consider. I cannot recommend Scott and Cameron enough, please do yourself a favor and add their professional skills to this already beautiful and amazing sightseeing event.
The trip itself is everything as advertised. Breathtaking views of everything mentioned and more. There are plenty of photo ops and stops along the way with interesting facts and tidbits to flesh out your photos and experiences. So much to see and such little time! Please take my advice and book this trip with these folks, they are amazing.

A perfect day, just too short! - The tour with Gary as our guide and William as our driver was the greatest!
It was a day full of fun and lots of interesting informations! Gary has a lot of knowledge and the 12 hours were over lots too fast!
Lots of other tours stop at the same spots, so if you don't wanna stay in long queues and take pictures without 200 other people in your sight, then do this tour, since they are starting as one of the first!
I loved it and just a small tip: most of the spectacular and famous things we saw on the tour were on our left side. So try to get a seat to your right, when you enter the coach. And try to stay near Gary and William at the front seats, since they make jokes the whole day!
I hope, you all will enjoy this as much as I did! Thank you again, Gary and William!

Loved the experience - My children (10 and 12 years old) absolutely loved this experience. I walk with a stick but had no problems to access anything during the tour whatsoever. Thank you!!!

Great speed version of exploring the Highlands - We had Scott as our tour guide, and he was great! Throughout (basically the entirety of) the bus ride + trip, he shared interesting tidbits of history and stories, and was very attentive to each group. Would highly recommend and is a great experience if you don't have much time to explore the Highlands.
If you do have several days though, it'd be much nicer to go on a several day tour since you have more time to explore the area, and won't be on the bus for as large a portion of the trip.

Best tour guide in the world - Fantastic. Just fantastic. The tour guide Scott was really entertaining and made the long trip to the north feel less long. The bus driver Grant drove really well and was very nice.
On the way to Loch Ness we stopped at a little farm thingy with a restaurant. And there they had two beautiful highland cows that you could take pictures with.
Well in Loch Ness you took a boat (that you had to pay extra for) out in the water and the tour guide there told us about the lake and it’s history.
This is a must do if you ever visit Scotland and hopefully you also get Scott and Grant.

Highland Experience Bus Tour - I normally avoid any kind of group tour which by definition means I have to be with annoying strangers. I normally avoid long drives because they are not fun. However, to please my daughter, out of temporary insanity, I apparently agreed to go on the Highland Experience Loch Ness and Highlands bus tour which is the longest one in Europe 12 1/2 hours!!! Why? She wanted to see all of Scotland.
Our driver was the gruff but good natured John. Our guide was the sweet but silly Josh. They provided explanations, jokes, a variety of all kinds of Music and chatter. Frankly, I think they should have two drivers for this length of a trip. But I felt safe with John.
First the good: despite a cold, rainy day, we got to see a lot of beautiful nature. You pay an extra 30 pounds to take a boat on Loch Ness and visit a ruined castle. Nice to see. Would have been thrilled to turn back to Edinburgh after that. Instead we drove through all kinds of nature, towns, more lochs. We saw the Highlands and huge mountains covered in purple heather with skinny waterfalls falling down. We learned about Scottish culture. Very impressive and memorable.
The bad: the trip is way too long. It is especially long when a woman with gigantic legs pushes her knees and feet into your back for hours making you feel like your back is being tortured and you will be in pain for a week. She had a pretty voice when she sang but I would have liked her to sit somewhere else. Also the loud American doctor talking about treating chigger bites was an unnecessary experience. As was the very loud shouting of the song 500 Miles.
The Scary: a lot of the roads are very narrow and windy. There are quite a lot of large trucks and buses flying on the opposite side of the road and the visibility was bad because of the rain. Apparently the road we were on has a lot of accidents and deaths. The bus does have seatbelts and we used them
Should you go? Not with small kids. Not with the very old. Not with people with any kind of neck or back issues as the windy roads whip you around. Otherwise it is a good once in a lifetime tour. Bring food and drinks as there isn’t anything great on any stops.

Do not pay nothing cash in advace - The trip to the highlands and lock ness is a wonderful idea, they are must-see places. The route was well chosen, the roads were good, but our guide took care to order lunch in advance, without having any details about the type of food, and to charge us in advance the payment for the cruise on Lake Ness. Although we were in the same place with the whole group, we were eating outside in the sun, he simply forgot to inform us about the boat ride and also forgot to return our money. It was extremely unpleasant. It's a shame that the efforts of the company that organized a superb tour were destroyed by such problems. Until getting off the bus, I waited for the money, explanations and possibly an apology, probably it was too busy, or... to think that I was from Romania and..
