A fun and informative tip, would highly recommend! - I have done a few coach tours, but this is by far my favourite. Colin was an amazing tour guide, balancing engaging information with alone time on the coach. The stops were great and we were there for just enough time at each one.

Amazing experience with the best guide - This full day trip was probably the best planned and orchestrated group tour that I have been on. Let’s start with Colin, amazing guide and Driver. Not only did he safely get us back home in the middle of a snow storm, he kept us informed and entertained throughout with his funny stories and bitty one liners. He timed everything to give us an amazing experience. The tour itself is a whole day trip to the north of the beautiful country and takes you through some of the best attractions that Scotland has to offer. There are enough stops for taking a break and the vehicle is also very comfortable. If you plan to do Loch Ness, Hairy Coos is the answer.

A long but excellent day! - My husband and I did the Scottish Highlands from Edinburgh tour and it was a long day with loads to see. Martin was our tour guide and he was an excellent story teller. He kept us entertained with stories, including history and pop culture, and a curated playlist of songs . The weather was not the best, but with the tour guide’s guidance as well as the proper clothing (layers, comfy shoes, waterproof items!), it was well worth it. We were in a large coach / tour bus, and if you are a larger person I recommend the seats towards the middle right after the side exit door. They give a bit more leg room. Definitely recommend taking a day away from the city regardless of the weather!

Strongly recommended - It was a wonderful experience. The bus driver Holy is so wonderful and friendly. She explained us everything in so briefly. Next time also I'll book the tour with the same company.

A must do! - Although we spent a lot of time in the bus, our tour guide, Stephen, made it worth the trip. He told jokes, made us laugh and pointed out some amazing things along the way. Plus each place we stopped at was well worth the drive! The highlands are so beautiful and Stephen knew all the best spots for pictures. He even went out of his way to give us an extra stop at the end of the day so we got to see some hairy coo’s!

Lochness - Challenging long trip with many nauseating moments due to the bus ride. The Scottish highlands were majestic and the Lochness boat ride interesting. Not recommended to others who have motion sickness.

Just an uncomfortable bus ride. - The entire trip 10 out of 12 hours is spent driving on a large bus filled with other travelers without cell phone chargers. You get off for several bathroom breaks where that is all you can do, except they keep having to wait for others who wandered off. In November, there was only a single restaurant open after the cruise (which is an additional charge). The food there was quite poor and expensive. At every stop, you can’t get any photos without the other 50 people on the tour being in the way. Everyone is smoking relentlessly at the stops. You never really get to wander at your own leisure. I would strongly consider looking for alternatives to view the highlands and the towns in it. Overall, the mountains themselves were hardly awe inspiring. We felt like we were going to be sick on the endless stuffy bus ride with limited oxygen. Overall, it kinda sucked.
