Amazing day and guide (Owen) - Owen is extremely passionate and knowledgeable. He loves his country and it shows through all the stories, passion and commitment with which he does his job. Owen was visibly in pain from a tooth ache most of the day but that didn’t stop him! I am so grateful that he still took us out and made this the best day trip I have ever had (and I’ve been on hundreds!).

Winter Wonderland in the Scottish Highlands! - My husband and I completed this tour yesterday 9th January and we cannot believe our luck for the day! Our tour guide, Owen was amazing going above and beyond for our little group (only 3 of us!) while not feeling his best and managing to tell us so many anecdotes about the Highlands and Scotland history as a whole. The highlights were definitely the Highland cows (we were very lucky to see them during this time of year!) and Glencoe which was simply stunning. The sun was out and Scotland had turned into a winter wonderland for us and we will definitely be back for more next time!

10/10 would recommend! - Simply speechless! We took the tour to Loch Ness, Glencoe and the Highlands with our amazing tour guide Owen and were completely blown away from the beautiful nature we saw. It was awesome traveling in such a small group of only 4 people which made it feel much more intimate and friendly in our opinion. And we have to point out that Owen was just an incredible guide. He had so many interesting storys to tell, adapted the schedule of our tour perfectly to the weather/season conditions and was just a kind person in general. It was huge luck to have him as our guide! We can't recommend the tour enough!

Great tour and amazing guide - We were on a tour to the Highlands with you guys on November 6th. Owen was our tour guide and we just have to say that he is AMAZING! He shared very interesting facts about the places and its history along the way. Always fun and attentive and very mindful of the schedule. Gave us very good advice for future visits. We are very happy to had him as our tour guide. - Best regards from Javier, Shomara and Agneris’s from Puerto Rico.

Beautiful and informative tour - I loved this tour so much! Richie was my guide and he was a great storyteller! Seriously, I went on a different tour 2 days later and the guide wasn’t half as amazing as Richie was at keeping the stories interesting. He was also great at making us all feel like friends and helping us get to know each other. We got to see so much in one day, and it is a lot of time in the car but totally worth it if you want to see Loch Ness and the Highlands and are short on time. We even got to see some highland cows! There was one person on our tour who got car sick and Richie was very caring and even took her right to her hotel at the end so she wouldn’t need to get a cab feeling like that. The highlight for me was Glencoe! We arrived at sunset and WOW! The most beautiful thing ever. It was windy and cold but who cares with so much beauty in front of you?! Totally loved this tour, highly recommend!

Edinburgh Day Trip to Scottish Highlands - Wonderful day trip for a solo traveler! My guide, Owen, was terrific and offered to take photos of everyone! We had a lovely drive and had plenty of time to get out and move. I chose this tour because I was worried about just being in a car all day, but you do get out enough where you don't feel caged all day! We ended up seeing Highland cows twice! We got plenty of photos and they all came up to the fence to visit us! I loved the waterfall walk! The fall foliage surrounding the waterfall was absolutely stunning! Owen was a great sport and happy to give recommendations & advice for potential trips & things to do. It's nice to see someone so passionate about Scotland! There are also plenty of stops along the way if you're worried about food/drink!

Highlands, Loch Ness, Glencoe Day Trip - We lucked out with weather, as it was a sunny day for the majority of the day trip, but we also had a fun group of people and a wonderful guide in Karen from Scotland's Wild. She was knowledgeable in the history and stories and took us to some incredible stops which included a boat ride in Loch Ness and several vantage points around Glencoe. It was a beautiful day trip from Edinburgh and I strongly recommend it for anyone wanting to get out of the city and explore the natural beauty of Scotland (especially if you have limited time during your visit)!

A unforgetable day... - The tour was absolutely stunning. I think Owen's knowledge can't be topped. His knowledge of Scotland and it's history is simply amazing. Ask whatever you want, he know's it, including very good tips for Scottish History Movies. Owen is a fun person and does care about each and everyone in the group. I would book with Sotland's Wild any time and highly recommend it.

Unprofessional - Unable or unwilling to pay for a central base, any tour that starts from Edinburgh means standing around in the early morning cold (and wet) on a random street, no where in particular. No shelter, no seat. Worse when guide late. And arriving back in the dark to the same no where random street. Our guide a contract driver, possibly a last minute call up, nice enough but his habit of texting while driving unsafe and unnerving. The selling point of a 'small' tour in an 8 person van is ok if you aren't jammed into either of the tiny front seats with the driver. Really, it should be a 7 person tour plus driver, or perhaps they mean its an 8 small people tour in a van. The reality is that the Scottish Highlands sell themselves. As long as the tour has stops in all the relevant places and someone who knows their way around the Highlands then pick another tour company. Tour didn't quite live up to the slick marketing.
