Incredible! - Our tour was amazing. Marco was a great tour guide and driver, so knowledgable and fun! He pointed out places of interest along the way and played Scottish music. We had a great time, would definitely recommend if you're looking for a day trip from Edinburgh to see the Highlands!

12 hours in the Highlands - Me and my husband thought we were not fans of guided tours, but since we had only 3 days to spend in Scotland that seemed to be the best option. I have to admit this was absolutely great and I am so happy we booked it! We got to see many many things and our guide Marco was great fun and knew a great deal about pop culture too! I'd definitely recommend this tour, especially if yours is a short stay: the tours are designed to let you make the most of it while fully enjoying the stunning landscapes. Thank you! Amazing day! Highly recommend - We went on the trip to Loch Ness, Glencoe and the Highlands. The meeting spot was easy to find and we got a very warm welcome from our Scottish driver, John. He had a big smile on his face and already made some good jokes. John guided us through the day in a very calm and safe way, whilst making funny jokes or small conversation. He had a lot of interesting stories to tell about his country. You could tell that he loved the area. John knew the area very well and made sure we saw the best spots. He helped us change the route a bit so we could see Loch Lubnaig. That was really the highlight of the day! Loch Lubnaig was so much more beautiful than Loch Ness. But we loved the whole trip and all the different spots. John made sure we had time to spend on our own and made desiscions about the route with the group. He made sure we would stay ahead of the crowd as much as possible. We loved the spots that we saw and the route was beautiful. It is a long day of driving so make sure you pack some snacks and water. You do stop regularly, so you can buy drinks or food. But its nice for on the road to have some snacks as well. We saw the trip on a folder in our hotel The Hampton Inn. We liked that it was a family business. They also have small busses (max 16 people) which we liked because you can move faster and see places more up close. We also liked that they made sure we and the company would care about the environment we drove through. We also thought the price was very good for such a full day of sightseeing in the Highlands. Wonderful Company, AMAZING tour! - I took two tours with this company--1) Glencoe, Highlands, and Loch Ness, 2) Loch Lomond, Stirling Castle, and Kelpies--and absolutely loved both. The Glencoe, Highlands, and Loch Ness tour was a 12-hour day but totally worth it and went by very fast, Frank was an amazing guide with tons of knowledge and just really lovely character, I loved his Scottish Music playlist (and kilt!). We made plenty of stops, were warned when there would be a longer time between stops, given lots of direction and information, so I never was wanting for a bathroom, snack, or amazing view. Frank also recommended great places to eat in every town we stopped in. The Stirling Castle and Loch Lomond tour was also amazing, with Marco being an excellent tour guide also with great stops and music, even making reservations to make sure we were guaranteed a table to get lunch and booking the Loch Lomond cruise tickets so it was very easy. I went on both Loch Ness and Loch Lomond cruises and both were just stunning, it was great that the tours stopped for enough time to enjoy the water! Overall a wonderful way to explore more of Scotland in just one day. Website very informative and easy to use, with tons of information up front and easy to book. Customer service is also top notch; I emailed because I was torn between three different tours and only had time for two, and got a response very quickly which helped me by recommending which tour to skip as it would have been duplicative of the other two tours. I also got a call the day before my Loch Ness tour as a courteousy to let me know that (so far) I was the only one who had booked it, just in case that would have been an issue, but assured me the tour would go forward regardless, which I really appreciated because I wouldn't have been able to rebook to another day. There ended up being another person who booked to be on the tour but it was nice to know they would call to let me know in case I would have been uncomfortable alone, but also to assure me that they would go ahead even with just me! Overall I couldn't be happier with my chosen tours, I would heartily recommend this company to anyone. I loved that the bus was a smaller and so more intimate, with ability to ask questions and go with a more manageably-sized group, and especially happy to support a small, family-run local business. We passed/saw several huge busses on the road and at a few rest stops and it just made me really happy to have be on our small bus!

Best Day Trip with best Drivers - Discover Scotland Tours offers definitely the best tours! I have been on the day trip from Edinburgh to the Highlands with James. He´s an amazing driver and guide. He changed the plan according how much time do we have, so we could stop in several other places to see more, which was not originally in the plan. He knows a lot about the area and the news which made it more enjoyable and fill with experience the trip. We could see several other tour buses stopping, where he said like "We will not stop now, because I know that the highlands cows are not outside in this period of the year, so we will not waste time here but go somewhere else where I know for sure the cows are visible to see closely". Such experience and flexibility made our trip the best one! Moreover, you won´t get bored on the trip from his funny and lovely guidance, stories throughout the trip. You will see, experience and learn a lot. Best trip that you can choose!

Fantastic trip with James - We had a fantastic day with James on his bus to Loch Ness. On our way there we stopped at different spectacular places and he taught us a little about Scottish history - what was in particular stunning was at the king's house hotel, which by the way was a bonus stop, there we got to witness a wonderful view. The Ben Nevis was lovely as well. The view was incredible. Overall the tour was a good experience for us. We loved it. Thank you James

Must do! 5 star tour - Wow! What a trip! From seeing Glencoe to visiting the highlands cows and a trip on the Loch Ness to find Nessie! This trip had it all! The views were out of this world with plenty photo opportunities! James was a phenomenal guide who had an immense wealth of knowledge from historical stories to local information he really made the tour even better. Will 100% recommend to anyone visiting Scotland.
