  • Craigie’s Farm not used - Craigie’s farm is a 30 minute drive from Edinburgh city centre. This is a working farm that has Highland Cows that love carrots as treats. There’s also a farm shop and cafe where you can grab a coffee and/or a bite to eat to take on the go.
  • Luss - A 90 minute drive will take us to the ‘foot steps’ of the Highlands and the beautiful village of Luss nestled on the banks of Loch Lomond, overlooking the Ben Lomond munro. Apart from stunning views of Luch Lomond, Luss is a place steeped in history, and here you can find an extremely rare Viking Hogback gravestone.
There’s a couple of gift shops, toilet facilities and places for refreshments.
  • Rest and be Thankful - Only 30 minutes away and at over 800 feet, this mountain viewpoint is a great stop for some beautiful photos of the stunning mountain scenery.
  • Inveraray Castle - Only a 30 minute drive away is the iconic Inveraray Castle, one of the few castles in Scotland still used as a residence, (Duke & Duchess of Argyle) this is the seat of the Clan Chief of Clan Campbell. Open Thursday to Monday, the castle grounds are freely open to the public (there is a charge if you wish to enter the castle) or there’s Inveraray town with plenty of options for lunch and views of Loch Fyne.

The Castle closes for winter from November to March, but the grounds are still open to the public.

  • Kilchurn Castle - A 30 minute drive takes us to Kilchurn castle, used by the English army as a formidable barracks for over 200 years and surrounded by water on 3 sides – a great place for photos.
  • The Three Sisters - A 60 minute drive through the Glencoe mountain range will take us to the famous Three Sisters Viewpoint. This is the most photographed place in Scotland - and you will understand why once we get there!
Full of breathtaking beauty and full of poignant history, this is a site you will never forget.
  • Rannoch Moor - Working our way back through Glencoe with multiple photo stops of the ‘3 sisters’, and other amazing photo stops, including Rannoch Moor - the largest bog expanse in the UK.
  • Loch Tulla Viewpoint - In this beautiful viewpoint, you can take in all that the Highlands have to offer in a single place: moutains, lochs and forests.

Highlight of our trip to the Highlands with our driver, George! - This tour to the Highlands was the highlight of our trip! We highly recommend our driver, George. He made the entire day enjoyable along with interesting with all his knowledge of the area. The well planned stops were perfect to give us a sample of what the Highlands all had to offer. George's added touches made the day even more enjoyable for our family. His love and passion for the area made the day unforgettable.

Amazing Day in the Scottish Highlands - Our driver,Ayvin, was amazing. Whatever we wanted to do he made sure it happened. When my wife wanted to see Highland cows, not only did he stop once he stopped twice to make it happen. He brought carrots for the cows and even knew their names. When my daughter and wife wanted to see sheep, he pulled over on the side of the road and got us close to a flock of sheep. He took us to a hidden waterfall that was not on the tour, which was amazing. And when my daughter and I decided to cold plunge in a Scottish Highlands waterfall, he picked the perfect one that wasn’t too rough or too far off the road and was safe. So the summit all up he was amazing and we would recommend this store to anyone wanting to spend a day in the Scottish highlands. I only regret is that I wish we would’ve stayed longer.

Fulfilling Dreams - First of all, let me say that our driver, Ayvin, did everything possible to make our day in the Highlands amazing. Not only did he have a good knowledge of the area, but he also knew a couple of secret spots that he was able to take us. He actually even pulled over and allowed my daughter and I took cold plunge and one of the Scottish Highland waterfalls. When my wife wanted to see Highland cows, he pulled over and made sure she saw them. When my daughter wanted to see and get closer to a flock of sheep, he pulled over and made it happen, to make a long story short he was amazing and we would definitely do this again and would definitely recommend it to anyone else wanting to spend a day in the beautiful Scottish Highlands.

Yes, it is worth it. No, it is not too long of a day. - We needed an efficient and easy way to see Inverary and Glen Coe. Corinne was efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. It was nice to enjoy the views instead of worrying about driving and navigation. Time well spent.

Simply the Best! - We had an amazing tour of the Scottish Highlands with E2G tours, truly. Our tour guide, Martin, picked us up at our Airbnb’s front door. Then it was off for 8-10 hours! With the wrong tour guide this can be a loooooong day. But with Martin it was a fun and funny time! The tour starts with just chatting and getting to know each other, Martin often asking the questions, breaking the ice and making us laugh with his witty humor. Our first stop was the Highland Cows. It was pouring the day we went, however, one of the cows was very receptive to being fed and pet. He was more than happy to interact with us and Martin provided snacks to feed him. After that we visited castles, churches, lochs, and much more. One of my personal favorites, as I am a whiskey man, was our visit to Oban! Anyone who likes scotch knows the name Oban. We enjoyed lunch there, some of the freshest fish on the planet can be found there for lunch, and then Martin directed us to the distillery for a tasting. It was absolutely worth it! Next it was onto the Three Sisters in the Scottish Highlands! It was windy, raining and cold but perfect! Unbelievable beauty, you truly must see it. To make it even more special Martin will crack open the Scotch while you are there so you can toast the highlands! And……he may give you more to toast again……and again! Bottom line, this tour is incredible and worth it. You will see and experience amazing sites. For us, the day started with a guy named Martin for a tour guide. 10 hours later Martin was like a member of the family. I would come back to Scotland just to tour with him again. We cannot say enough about what a wonderful day we had with E2G Tours!

A great day in Scotland! - Simon picked us up from our hotel right on time. He gave us a brief description of what to expect for the day and off we went. He was very knowledgeable and conversational. It felt like we had known him for a while instead of for five minute's. The tour took us out of Edinburg and into the countryside. We were able to see the true beauty of Scotland and it was spectacular. We ran into some rain and mist but felt this was a true representation of Scotland. Highly recommend this tour and you would be lucky to get Simon!

Spectacular Private Tour of the Highlands - Our Tour Guide, George, made the trip educational and fun. His knowledge is impressive and his friendly accommodating personality is a delight. He willingly changed our itinerary on the fly to accommodate a special request for us to see a Clan Castle with a family connection. He efficiently used our time to effectively maximize sights and activities for us. Our transportation was very clean and well equipped for the day. He thought of everything and even had some special surprises up his sleeve. Highly recommend this Tour and ask for George.

Great guide! Too rushed. - Jimmy was an excellent guide. His driving skills on some tiny roads in the rain were superb. We felt safe in his hands. He knew a lot about Scotland and wanted us to see it all. I appreciated that. The whole day, however, felt very rushed trying to go to as many places as possible. It wasn't what we expected. The hairy coos did not disappoint.
