In search of the hairy coo - Our guide regaled us with tall tales and hot tips and never once steered us wrong. We had time to take in the sites - enough to feel inspired to come again and stay longer. We were never rushed or deprived. We had them book our stays and I couldn’t have chosen a better selection of quaint and well-appointed local establishments. My one disappointment was that we saw more fairy folk than hairy coos.

Beautiful Scotland - Our guide Alex was terrific. He was caring, funny, knowledgeable, and attentive. We saw places we might not have seen if we had driven ourselves. We met people from everywhere, not just other Americans. We enjoyed having a guide who was proud of his beautiful country. Accommodations were very good, even the tiniest sink in our room in Inverness! We wish the tour had been longer!

A perfect combination of past and present. - Seeing Scotland with Cameron and 14 other wonderful people. The sights, the sounds, the silliness. Really an adventure I’ll never forget.

A once in a lifetime trip! - Angus was an excellent tour guide! Not only was he a safe driver he was informative and interesting. His stories and descriptions of the places we were visiting made them come alive. I appreciated his humor. The tour covered such beautiful places. My favorite places were the highland waterfalls, Glencoe, and the beautiful, historical castles of Eilean Donan and UrQuhart. Traveling by boat through Loch Ness and the train over the viaduct were highlights. I would recommend this trip!

Excellent 5 day trip around Scotland - The tour I booked was simply amazing. Our guide and driver Brodie was both humouros and funny and had a vast knowledge that he shared with the group. The trip took us to very picturesque Glens, Lochs and to historic relevant sites and places. Brodie told us a lot about the stories, myths and history of every location which rounded off the entire experience. I totally recommend this tour. You can visit some of Scotlands well known locations in a short time span and learn a lot about the history and the country itself.

A must do !!!!!!! - A must do !!!! Where do we start….. oh yes Edinburgh, from the moment we were picked up for our highland experience we knew this was not going to be anything we thought it was going to be. All our worries about a guided trip stuck on a bus with strangers for 5 days soon faded as the laughter, jokes and stories flooded in. Our fantastic tour guide Brodie was very knowledgeable, he gave us lots of historical and factual information and entertained us through the highlands. I would recommend paying extra for the boat trip along Loch Ness the views are amazing whilst enjoying a hot chocolate with a wee tipple of whiskey. My favourite was the Jacobite train as must for any Harry Potter fans. Brodie went above and beyond and even back tracked on the journey to see Old Man Starr once the weather had cleared. So worth it !!! The views are breathtaking you will soon find yourself saying a lot of “oooohs and ahhhs” Photos don’t do this trip justice but the memories will last forever thank you Highland Tours & the wonderful Brodie ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wonderful trip - It was a fun and thrilled experience, educating as well. Even it was raining, it’s like the show must go on. Accomodation was wonderful and my dream come true to stay in a limestone house for two nights. The driver is well knowledgeable and nice to accompany us to some sites

Great way to see Scotland! - We would thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see much of Scotland in five days. Our driver, Alex, was extremely knowledgeable and amusing. He went out of his way to ensure we had a special experience. He played some lovely music throughout and gave us some great recommendations on places to eat. The accommodation was very comfortable throughout; everyone was just so friendly and welcoming!

Our tour guide Alex was... - Our tour guide Alex was WONDERFUL and we did get to see many great sights throughout Scotland. Unfortunately the first hotel in Oban was absolutely terrible . If it hadn't been for the professional response from our guide and main tour operator we would have left the tour. We were also 16 people on a small 16 passenger minibus. My bad for misreading the fine print as I understood it was going to be a bigger bus than the one we had previously taken on a day trip. The seats are very small.....no leg room and many on the bus were seniors. At the back...four people were totally squished together. It was a rush everyday to try to get the best seats:( This was very uncomfortable for five days on a bus. It was our first try at this kind of tour and we would never do it again unless we were guaranteed a larger bus. Again, our guide was terrific---he saved the day:)
