An essential to discover the Highlands - An Amazing tour with an amazing guide. We have seen the best of Scotland in 5 days. Travel times are never too long thanks to the many stops or anecdotes of our guide, Ian.

Great way to see Highlands - Had a wonderful time on our 5 day trip. Paul was an excellent tour guide/driver. The places we went to were amazing. All of accommodation over the 5 days was good except first day . It was contactless check in and no information regarding breakfast (we only found out it would be delivered to our door when calling about room temperature). Also when we did get breakfast no knock on door of its delivery, only seen because we went looking for it, and also room was rather small. Would be good if they left information. All other accommodation was great but it would be nice if group wasn’t so spread at end of the day so we could dine together if you wanted.

Amazing scenery and great company - This was the second time I joined a tour from Highland Experience Tours. I had such a great time last year, that I really wanted to come back this year. Although the scenery of the highlands speaks for itself, this tour wouldn’t be as fun without such a great group. Iain was our guide and he was amazing. He told all the background and stories and did so with great humor and enthusiasm. You can really tell he is proud of his country and that makes you fall in love with Scotland even more. And even though the roads seem very challenging with a big bus, he still managed to talk about fairies and unicorns. Thanks for such an amazing trip and maybe see you next year!

In search of the hairy coo - Our guide regaled us with tall tales and hot tips and never once steered us wrong. We had time to take in the sites - enough to feel inspired to come again and stay longer. We were never rushed or deprived. We had them book our stays and I couldn’t have chosen a better selection of quaint and well-appointed local establishments. My one disappointment was that we saw more fairy folk than hairy coos.

Beautiful Scotland - Our guide Alex was terrific. He was caring, funny, knowledgeable, and attentive. We saw places we might not have seen if we had driven ourselves. We met people from everywhere, not just other Americans. We enjoyed having a guide who was proud of his beautiful country. Accommodations were very good, even the tiniest sink in our room in Inverness! We wish the tour had been longer!

A perfect combination of past and present. - Seeing Scotland with Cameron and 14 other wonderful people. The sights, the sounds, the silliness. Really an adventure I’ll never forget.

A once in a lifetime trip! - Angus was an excellent tour guide! Not only was he a safe driver he was informative and interesting. His stories and descriptions of the places we were visiting made them come alive. I appreciated his humor. The tour covered such beautiful places. My favorite places were the highland waterfalls, Glencoe, and the beautiful, historical castles of Eilean Donan and UrQuhart. Traveling by boat through Loch Ness and the train over the viaduct were highlights. I would recommend this trip!

Excellent 5 day trip around Scotland - The tour I booked was simply amazing. Our guide and driver Brodie was both humouros and funny and had a vast knowledge that he shared with the group. The trip took us to very picturesque Glens, Lochs and to historic relevant sites and places. Brodie told us a lot about the stories, myths and history of every location which rounded off the entire experience. I totally recommend this tour. You can visit some of Scotlands well known locations in a short time span and learn a lot about the history and the country itself.

A must do !!!!!!! - A must do !!!! Where do we start….. oh yes Edinburgh, from the moment we were picked up for our highland experience we knew this was not going to be anything we thought it was going to be. All our worries about a guided trip stuck on a bus with strangers for 5 days soon faded as the laughter, jokes and stories flooded in. Our fantastic tour guide Brodie was very knowledgeable, he gave us lots of historical and factual information and entertained us through the highlands. I would recommend paying extra for the boat trip along Loch Ness the views are amazing whilst enjoying a hot chocolate with a wee tipple of whiskey. My favourite was the Jacobite train as must for any Harry Potter fans. Brodie went above and beyond and even back tracked on the journey to see Old Man Starr once the weather had cleared. So worth it !!! The views are breathtaking you will soon find yourself saying a lot of “oooohs and ahhhs” Photos don’t do this trip justice but the memories will last forever thank you Highland Tours & the wonderful Brodie ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
