Outstanding tour - My children (age 23 & 17) and I, had a great time with Hugh. It was a small crowd and honestly I wouldn't have had it any other way. Hugh was very informative, kind and talkative (which I loved). I plan to come back to Scotland and plan to book another tour but only with Hugh as the tour guide haha. Thank you for everything you showed us. God bless you.

A Tour Not to Miss - What a wonderful experience! This was probably our favorite of the tours we took while visiting Edinburgh, Scotland. Our guides, Hugh and John S., were absolute gems. They were not just informative, but they were kind, communicative, helpful, and entertaining. They thoroughly made the experience much better because of it. Not only were we able to see all the things we were expecting to see, but because we made such a good time, Hugh was able to incorporate 2 extra stops for us, making it much more than we could have expected. There are plenty of stops to allow for coffee or bathroom breaks, which is very helpful. Because you don't get that on many other tours. Do plan to wear some comfy shoes, especially for Stirling Castle. You will definitely enjoy this tour.

Awesome day tour that lasts only eight hours but you see and do so much!! - Our driver/tour guide was wonderful. So friendly and informative but I can’t remember his name. Maybe Lewis! We got to see I part of the land of Scotland and the Abbey and Stirling Castle were so interesting. My favorite though was Rosslyn Chapel. It is so beautiful with lots of history! And we drove by the Kelpies which I had heard about but did not know we would see. A great day trip!!

Nice - Nice Jamie was very informative. He gave us a lot of information especially the recommendation for a restaurant in Edinburgh. We went there for dinner and it was excellent. It was a great birthday gift and the food was delicious. The service also was very good.. Appreciated the recommendation.

Great Guide - My husband and I had the pleasure of having Chloe as our guide! She was fantastic!! Wonderful wealth of knowledge (sharing little tidbits of information not even the castle tour guides told us), funny and engaging! Highly recommend requesting her on your next tour!

Outstanding tour of Historic Scotland - This was my first visit to Scotland, and with only being in town for two days, I wanted to make the most of it. My companion and I saw the sights in Edinburgh on our first day, but wanted to explore outside a bit more, and this tour provided the best option for me, as I'm a castles and churches tourist. Pick up spot was very convenient, easy to find and centrally located. Alex was our guide, and he was fantastic! You could tell he has a passion for his homeland and it showed - from the main attractions to the little "surprise" stops along the way, this tour was worth every penny! What a great way to see more during a trip, without having to worry about directions and transportation. Plus we got a great history lesson too! We also had a small group (8 people) which made for more room in the coach and a comfortable experience. Altogether, I would definitely recommend Highland Experience Tours to anyone looking to explore Scotland a bit more - they do a wonderful job! Thanks to their team for an extremely enjoyable visit to beautiful Scotland!

Excellent Scottish Day Trip from Edinburgh - So very glad we booked and went on this day tour from Edinburgh! Comfort in a small passenger mini van with commentary (& music) from our knowledgeable, funny & engaging driver/guide Steven B. The sites were amazing! We had ample time to tour, take photos and just take in the beauty of these Scottish gems. Don't miss these historic places. This tour was the highlight of our trip to Scotland. I highly recommend!!

History made fun - Was made to feel welcome by tour guide Alex. Learned about the historical places that helped shape Scotland today. From the resting place of Robert the Bruce and William Wallace at Dunfermline Abbey. The kings and queens that lived at sterling Castle and it's roll in history.and thirdly the mystery around Roslyn Chapel it's stone work by the stone masons and on what may or may not lay beneath it's grounds. The over all tour was great fun and informative, souvenir Shops hot and cold drinks and food can be found at each stop and Toilets aswell. .please rap up well as tour can be a bit cold depending on the time of year.
