Fantastic day out with a great guide - Just arrived back from a great day out visiting the Kelpies ,Sterling castle and Loch Lomond .we was picked up at around 8.30 in the morning, and our first stop was the Kelpies .We arrived there around an hour after our departure from Edinburgh. It was very quiet there and we had plenty of opportunities to look around these magnificent sculptures of two horses ,with out the fuss of large crowds . Absolutely Amazing .We had around 45 minutes there .We then boarded the bus to our next destination which was Loch Lomond .The journey to Loch Lomond took around van Hour .And our guide Mark was very informative and gave us a history lesson on the surrounding areas ,with a lot of humour which was fun .We then arrived at Loch Lomond and again it was very quiet ,which was a bonus .Payed £16 each for an hour's cruise .The cruise was very good and there was some stunning scenery to observe on our trip up loch Lomond ..After the cruise Mark drove us to a little sleepy village for lunch .After lunch Mark said he would take us all on a more scenic route up into the mountains ,and again it was stunning .More so because all of the trees and grass were coated in ice and it looked very festive .We even stopped along side a lake for a few photos .We then set on our final destination which was Stirring Castle .But before we got there we had a little stop at another castle + can't remember the name ) We arrived at Stirling castle during sunset and it was again stunning .£19 each for the tickets to enter the castle .we had a good look around and learnt a lot about the history of the castle and the staff were very friendly .We had around an hour and half at the castle before our trip back to Edinburgh .We both said after the trip it was the best experience we have ever had on a coach trip .The main reason for us saying this was down to our guide Mark .A very bubbly person who's knowledge on the history of Scotland is amazing and had a great sense of humour to go with it .Thankyou again

Highly recommended! - I did the Loch Lomond, Stirling Castle and Kelpies day tour with Lorna & Jamie. It was an amazing tour. Lorna & Jamie shared lots of information and kept the ride very interesting. Lorna is an amazing, safe driver. She masterly drove through the Duke Pass and ensured everyone was comfortable through out the tour. I will highly recommend this tour to anyone who is considering it.

A joyous journey - This tour was a wonderful experience! Jada, our tour guide was proficient in the entire area sharing so many fascinating details about what we were visiting. She was a very safe driver and kept us on track. The Kelpies stop was fun! Their story is captivating. Sterling Castle was mesmerizing. The boat trip on Loch Lomond was exhilarating! I highly recommend this tour and Timberbush the company who runs it.

Meant to be - I ended up missing this tour because I was late due to traffic. They kindly put me on another tour to the West Highlands and I have to say it was fantastic! I believe I was meant to be on that tour that day and things happen for a reason. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Highlands and various castles (including Doune from outlander and Game of Thrones) on the way. Rest and Be Thankful was a view I will never forget. Sam, our Guide, was wonderful! He was thoughtful, funny and knowledgeable. A very safe and efficient driver. I highly tour and Timberbush the company who ran it. Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience!

Wonderful trip! - Natalie was awesome! Very pleasant and knowledgeable! My only criticism is I wish I could have spent more time at Sterling Castle. We got there with only about an hour to check it out, it was too late to get a guided tour and it got dark very quickly. Otherwise I loved the trip!
