- Rjukandi Waterfall - We will start the tour by driving to Rjúkandi Waterfall in Jökuldalur Valley, where we’ll make a short stop and take an easy and accessible walk up to the waterfall. From there we will make our way to Stuðlagil Canyon.
- Studlagil canyon - Nestled deep within the remote Icelandic countryside, Stuðlagil Canyon is truly a remarkable destination. On the east side of Jökulsá River we go on an easy half an hour walk to the gorge of the canyon. Total time at Stuðlagil Canyon is about 2-3 hours which gives us plenty of time to explore and enjoy the scenery along with snacks and drinks. Most of the summer the water in the river is clear with turquoise colour but in the beginning of August the river changes to grey-ish glacial water.

Highly recommended tour and guide - We had a great day with Diana visiting the studlagil canyon, the baths, a reindeer farm, and a couple of waterfalls. The canyon was magnificent and Diana showed us the best viewpoints and the hiking was easy, except for the short rock climbing part 😳, which is avoidable 😊. The reindeer farm was very interesting, and kudos to the farmer who took on this job. All in all, a super day with Diana, and thanks also to Helga!

Most excellent tour! - Diana was our tour guide. She was INCREDIBLE! We are bouncing around Iceland and our time with Tanni has been, by far, the best experience. Diana was so kind, considerate, PATIENT and accommodating. We have a really large group and she handled us all so well. Thank you, Diana and Tanni Travel. Great hike and natural bath - Great tour to the magnificent Stuðlagil canyon and relaxing experiance at Vök baths. Diana our tour guide drived us safely through the gravel road at Stuðlagils parking and kept the pace on the hike at a perfect easy level. The lunch pack included was really good. I can for sure recommend this tour and Tanni travel.
