Highlights

Meet and pick up from airport

Cairo Governorate - Upon arrival, a representative will greet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy in Cairo!

Visiting the Egyptian museum, pyramids of Giza, taking the sleeper train to Luxor

The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - After breakfast and checkout, your Egyptologist Guide will pick you up in an air-conditioned van. Start your day by visiting the Egyptian Museum, where you will see 165,000 Egyptian artifacts. You can also visit the Mummies Hall (additional cost).

Pyramids of Giza - Next, we will visit the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. The Sphinx is an iconic symbol of Egypt. Then, you will visit a perfume factory and a traditional papyrus institute.

Luxor Temple - Next, you will be taken to Giza Train Station to board your sleeper train to Luxor, arriving at Luxor Station around 08:20 am.

Luxor day tour and overnight in Luxor

Valley of the Kings - Upon arriving at Luxor train station, you will meet your guide and be picked up in an air-conditioned vehicle to start your Luxor tour. First, we will visit the west bank, known as the city of the dead and the funerary complex of the Ancient Egyptians. We will visit the Valley of the Kings, the ancient cemetery of pharaohs of the New Kingdom, hidden in the mountains between the two limestone hills of Gurna. The Valley of the Kings holds 63 registered tombs, with 3 more recently discovered.

Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari - We will then visit the Hatshepsut Temple, a unique mortuary temple built in a terrace formation into the cliff face. Hatshepsut was a famous female pharaoh who wore a false beard and all the trappings of male pharaohs to claim the throne. We will then visit the Memnon Colossi, the only remaining statues fronting the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III, depicting the pharaoh sitting on his throne. Next, we will cross the Nile to the East Bank for lunch at a local restaurant (drinks not included).

Temple of Karnak - Our last stop on this tour is the Karnak Temples, the largest ancient temple complex in Egypt. The Karnak Temple complex is one of Egypt’s major sites, where the sacred energies of Ancient Egypt can still be felt. Then, you will be taken to your Luxor hotel for an overnight stay.

Fly back to Cairo and visiting Old Islamic and Coptic Cairo

Coptic Cairo - Early in the morning, you will check out and be transferred to Luxor Airport for your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival at Cairo Airport, your tour guide will pick you up and start your tour by visiting three old churches in Coptic Cairo.

Khan Al-Khalili - Visiting the Saladin Citadel and Khan El Khalili Bazaar will be an amazing experience. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant, and then you will be transferred back to your hotel in Cairo.

Free Day With optional tour to Alexandria

Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa - Enjoy a free day with an optional tour to Alexandria. If you wish to book it, you can do so with the tour guide. At 07:00 am, you will be picked up to visit Alexandria, where you will see the mixed art of Greek, Roman, and ancient Egyptian cultures. The Catacombs consist of three floors, and you will visit the main tomb, which still retains carvings, statues, and symbols of Roman, Greek, and Egyptian art.

Pompey’s Pillar - You will visit the 3rd-century Pompey’s Pillar, a 25-meter red Aswan granite column that is the last remaining relic of the Seraphim Temple. Constructed in honor of Emperor Diocletian, it was once a magnificent structure rivaling the Soma and the Caesarean.

Qaitbay Citadel - After the 11th-century earthquake, the Lighthouse of Alexandria was destroyed, and Sultan Qaitbay built the Alexandrian Fortress to protect northern Egypt. During your tour of the Qaitbay Citadel, your guide will tell you more about the military monuments and the Lighthouse of Alexandria. You will have lunch at a local restaurant before driving back to Cairo to spend your last night in Egypt.

An incredible trip! - One of the best trips I have ever been on! I've fallen in love with Egypt and I can't wait to visit again. The tour company was excellent, really responsive to all my questions. The accommodation was very good and transportation was all smooth. But the highlight was definitely the guides, particularly Souhaila who had such a detailed knowledge and passion for the history.

Memorable Experience in Egypt - Me and my mum had an amazing holiday touring with our guide Jimmy and Agami! Very knowledgable about sights and got to see interesting sights around Egypt as well as experienced the culture and warmth of the local people. We added on a day trip to Alexandria and it was a great addition to the trip - would recommend it if you enjoy the sea and want a break from the city! Friendly and open atmosphere throughout which made the experience even more memorable - felt like we were learning about Egypt from friends rather than a formal tour. All in all, would definitely recommend! Thank you for an unforgettable holiday and can't wait to meet you guys again on my next visit!

6 day tour of Cairo & Luxor - Highly recommend the tour for sure. It was such a phenomenal experience, mind blowing and breathe taking. The 6 days we had it was just full packed with so much ancient sitings. from Cairo to Luxor. 100% fully recommend it. Our tour guide Jimmy was such an amazong friendly guy with so much information, he makes you feel welcome and very helpful will definately be making my next tour is with him again. One thing i will highlight the 5* accomodation is not what it looks like the restuarsnt lobby are designed as 5* but the actual room is like 3* not a standard of a 5* which was very disapointing, we had a night in luxor with the tour package and the luxor hotel was what i expected but unfortunately was there just for the night. The tour i will recommend 100%!!!!!!

Great tour! - Our family of four + my brother did a classic tour with Egypt Tours Club and thoroughly enjoyed every day. We would certainly travel with them again. We were met at the Cairo airport and had a seamless transition to our hotel upon arrival. Zero hassle from cab drivers or touts. We enjoyed all three hotels we stayed at (Cairo, Luxor and Aswan) but I will say the hotel in Cairo is closer to a 3.5 or 4 star than it is a 5 star. The hotels used in Luxor and Aswan were both excellent. We were spoiled with two excellent guides and we sincerely enjoyed our time with both. Mariam in Cairo - considerate, thoughtful, informative and brought a great sense of humor to our three days together. Our two boys, both in their teens asked her good questions and were entertained by her stories and humor. Mahmoud joined for the adventures in Luxor and Aswan. He was accommodating, patient and went the extra mile. A terrific person to spend time with. We were done for the day but he still joined us for a stroll through the market in Aswan. Ali was out tour coordinator and he was always very quick to respond to every question. He did a good job. Overall, our family had a great time exploring Egypt’s history and created wonderful memories while experiencing the culture of this unique country.

Treated like a princess 🥰 - So the tour in itself is 4 days with the first and the last day being your travel days which I liked and everyday is nice and packed with the highlights so it’s a nice little tour! now, I start the trip and was informed that the rest of my group canceled due to Covid concerns so I had a private tour which was so nice !! They ended up changing my overnight Luxor train to flights and kept me in a slightly upgraded room for 5 nights so it was so nice they were flexible and did that. The best part about my tour was Youssa, my guide. I don’t think I could have been in better hands!! If you have him on your tour, you are blessed! I am immunocompromised and have tried to be very careful with masking and cleaning. Youssa was so extremely thorough. He always wore a mask, sanitized everytime he got to the car, asked others to wear masks around me and tried to stay away from crowds. I was so so blessed to have him he made me feel so comfortable and was so accommodating on that front. He handled any concerns I had and was so flexible in adding some more activities, he even insisted on taking pictures! He was also so knowledgeable on the info of the trip and checked in so frequently to make sure he answered any questions and to Make sure I was ok. The activities were so great and awesome but knowing your safe and in such good hands, I am so so thankful I had him to guide me. Thank you so much for a wonderful trip Youssa!!!

Fantastic Tour Guides! Had a great time in Egypt - The service was really amazing! We had a really great time with Ali and Ahmad in Cairo, Luxor and Aswan. They are personable, very professional and informative. We were able to also tweak the tours to suit our timings, which was fantastic. I would highly very recommend Egypt Tours Club to anyone planning a trip- you can literally close your eyes and let them plan everything. I’ll definitely be referring them to people I know who are planning trips in the future. Grateful for their upmost professionalism and service to customers 👍🏽
