great - What a wild ride! This tour was an absolute hoot, starting with the guides who were so accommodating they practically tucked us in and read us bedtime bike manuals. The bikes had automatic gearboxes, which made driving them as easy as saying, “Zoom, zoom!” The brakes? Oh, they were top-notch—though remember, folks, rear brake first unless you fancy an impromptu desert gymnastics routine. And because stopping in the desert takes double the usual distance, keep a safe gap unless you want to make some very close friends. The camel ride? Outstanding. I think my camel and I had a real bond—until he gave me that “you’re heavier than I signed up for” side-eye. The show was dazzling, and the food? Pretty nice! Pro tip: Wash your hands before eating (or your camel will judge you) and stick to what your tummy knows, unless you’re eager for an adventure after the adventure. Now, full disclosure: the wait between activities was a bit of a snooze-fest. After eating, I was ready to head back, but nope—had to stay for the final show. (Spoiler: It was worth it!) If you like a little extra spice in your trip, sneak a couple of bottles of booze in your bag because there’s none for sale. Just don’t overdo it—drunk camel rides are probably frowned upon. Oh, and be a champ and tip your guide—they might just hook you up with a free taxi and save you from battling the post-show stampede. All in all, 10/10 would skid in the sand and bond with a camel again!

Quad bike ride in the mountains in the Sharm Desert. - As already written in the other reviews we organized this excursion along with 3 others with the guys of book tour Egypt and we had a great time. You are picked up at your hotel by minibus with other guests and then you reach the park from which you will leave with a quad bike to enter the valley. The time at which we left and the season were perfect for being able to shoot in the cool of the sunset in the mountains. You make various stops for photos or information about the area. Then you reach a Bedouin camp where you can drink a small hot tea and with which you can take a ride of a few minutes with the camel (usual ritual tip). It ends in the restaurant where a show of typical dances and juggling is proposed. Dinner is good and consists of pasta and rice with chicken cooked on the spot with exposed grills and dishes of seasoned vegetables. A bottle of still water is provided per person but drinks or cocktails can be ordered for a fee. An experience to do to spend a half day and a different evening. The only note I can make but that is not attributable to the organization is the fact that the desert between inattentive tourists and Bedouins a little too easy has filled every corner with plastic waste. From cans to bottles, bags and everything. This breaks a bit the magic of the area which is really beautiful. The Egyptian state should control this situation more with targeted cleaning and possible fines to those caught polluting regardless of anything. Considering that you also pay a fee of 1 euro per person for entry into the reserve, in theory, for its care it seems to me that this euro has been lost along with plastic in the desert.

Experience to do - We requested to do the sunrise hike to enjoy the rising sun from the desert, and were promptly accommodated. Nice ride on the quad with a couple of stops, we were offered Bedouin tea and we could admire the view and the change of colors of the sky. All attention to detail by the agency, which we thank. To do!

Again the best part was the quad bikes. It wasn’t an authentic Egyptian experience. Very commercialised. - I would say the quad bikes were the best part of the trip. The camel ride was very brief I’d say 2 minutes and the boys/men walking with them hounded holiday makers for tips. And even wouldn’t get camel to move until received a tip. Every inch of it was another way for them to make money. The show was too long before food as most people/children were hungry.
