Aswan - Luxor cruise - We had the pleasure of having Talaat as our travel guide during our trip from Aswan to Luxor, and he truly made the experience unforgettable. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable about the ancient sites, temples, and history of the region, but he also had a warm and engaging personality that made every moment enjoyable. Talaat had a great sense of timing and organization, which meant we avoided the big crowds and got to really soak in the atmosphere of each place. He was always open to questions, and his passion for Egyptian history was contagious. His storytelling brought the past to life in a way that made even the most well-known sites feel personal and fresh. If you’re planning a trip to Upper Egypt, I wholeheartedly recommend Talaat. He’s not just a guide—he’s a great companion for the journey.

The Nile Cruise you should try. - We loved the nile cruise. The boat staff were amazing, it was an older boat but very well taken care of. Dr. Khalid did a wonderful job. The only negative that we had was the guide we had for the Abu Simbel. He was not very attentive, leaving group members I the restroom while he moved on, and the 3 min explanation he gave should have been done elsewhere because it was way too loud to hear him. Other than that this trip was very nice!

Great way to experience Egypt! - Wow! What a memorable experience! The itinerary is jam-packed. We had to get up very early to do it all, but Egypt is worth losing sleep over! Khaled is an excellent guide. He taught us a lot. You will learn a lot on this trip! Khaled also communicates well from the day before the trip on WhatsApp as well as during the trip. Our plane was late, for instance, but Khaled helped coordinate things so that it was not stressful and we were still able to do everything. We love the ship staff, too! Very friendly and fun. We traveled as a group of 4 adults, but I would love to come back with our grandkids now that we know what to expect.

Great staff and beautiful sites - We joined the cruise on the evening boarding time. Because of our late arrival we missed the first day of excursions. Nevertheless our driver Hany was very friendly and personable and made sure we got to dinner before it closed for the day. He immediately connected us with our tour guide Michael who promptly sent us the itinerary for the next day and explained everything carefully to us. These are but two examples of the kind and helpful treatment that we had the whole time we were on board. The staff remembered and greeted us warmly for meals and when returning to the boat. They provided attentive and helpful service and were pleasant and lighthearted too. We can’t say enough about our guide Mike who was both knowledgeable and patient with our small group. When we had trouble completing the transaction for pre buying tickets for Kom Ombo, for example, he let us use his personal hotspot to get the tickets. We appreciated his sense of humor and hospitality! A couple of things to bear in mind: it is great that your hotel room travels with you. This is convenient and comfortable and allows for so many opportunities to see a lot of sites in only a few days. There are trade offs as well. This means that many experiences require early morning starts on most days and limited time at each site to keep the group on schedule. For most locations the short time was adequate, but there were a couple of times where we craved just a bit more time to feel the awe that these locations evoke. The drive to Abu Simbel is three hours each way by car so be prepared for a long day. The temple complex of course is a great compensation for the long car ride. Be forewarned that site security and other official looking individuals at almost every stop will want to offer you a special treat such as taking a photo or showing you to a closed location, or offering a fan to keep you cool inside the tombs. They always do so with the expectation of a tip. If you don’t want to engage in the haggle, it is best not to engage with them at all. The best part of the whole experience for us was the friendly and respectful staff who went out of their way to make our journey so enjoyable. The sites were magnificent and our guide and drivers helped to contextualize and make them accessible.

Wonderful Experience - The King Tut 1 ship was amazing with its Victorian era feel and the rustic design made me feel like I was in the titanic minus the ice berg of course. The staff/ crew was simply wonderful, respectful, super helpful very professional, friendly. They have made this expirence 100 times better. The Open Buffet of our food was well made, diverse cuisine with both Westen and Egyptian style food. Chef Ahmed has made it with spirit and love for his craft. Our Tour Guide Mr. Khald was great, has a vast amount of knowledge in his field, very friendly and helpful with any issue arising. Cared for the group and the people he was with. My only downside with the whole cruise is that the time you get for each visit is definitely not enough especially the free time. You barely have time to see the whole temples/site much less take pictures with your friends. Another thing was; there were a few times where people nearly got left behind either on the ship or on the site but Our tour guide made it his responsibility to always check and count us so that doesnt happen. Overall experience; it was lovely definitely worth it just keep in mind the extra expenses you will use. Tips, Extra tours/Journeies, tickets and of course water expenses haha.

Cruise in the Nile - The cruise is a unique experience and one must definitely do it because one sees all the sights of Egypt. You start from the temple of Phileas after Aswan which you have to take a walk in the alleys and shop from the outdoor market. You see Abu Simbel which is 4 hours from Aswan, then you see Com Obo, Entfu during the cruise and you end up at Luxor. It's worth the experience. Although the boat was old, it was clean and the staff very friendly. The food meets our expectations. The only bad thing is the lunch boxes which you can ask to put on you exactly what you want.If you don't do so they will give you a sandwich with caceri, banana, apple and chrysuecas. Our guide does not meet my expectations for this and I put a low score. He was taking us to the sights, he was having two conversations before we went in and he was leaving us alone to wander around. He wasn't with us to explain what was what we were seeing. Tip: In the Valley of Kings the tomb of Tutankhamun has an extra entrance fee of 13€. For me, it's not worth it. There's nothing to see except the mummy and a mural. Better go to the grave of Ramses 4-5.

Lovely Journey with a Few Red Flags - We truly enjoyed our time on the cruise—it had a charming Agatha Christie vibe that made the experience feel both nostalgic and unique. That said, we did encounter a few issues along the way, which made the overall experience a bit mixed. The staff was exceptionally respectful and polite, making us feel very welcome and comfortable throughout the journey. Chef Ahmed and the rest of the crew went above and beyond to make everything memorable, from the service to the food. The tour itself was a bit fussy and packed to the brim, which is expected for a 4-day itinerary. However, we would’ve loved more time to really take in the beauty of the temples. The visits were often very short, so if you're someone who enjoys lingering at the sights or taking photos, it’s worth advocating for yourself and asking for more time when needed. Our guide, Khaled, was pleasant, helpful, and attentive. He shared many stories and bits of information during the site visits—some of which seemed questionable (like saying Alexander the Great was Egyptian), so it's a good idea to do a bit of your own research beforehand to supplement the tour. While he made sure we were generally well looked after, there were a few moments that left us uneasy—for instance, we were once left behind in the boat, which was frustrating and a bit chaotic. We also noticed that Khaled was taking us to certain shops where it became clear he was receiving a percentage of the sales, which made parts of the tour feel a little commercially driven. Keep in mind the extra costs: around €100 for entrance tickets, €25 in tips, €25 for the Nubian village visit, and €50 for the hot air balloon.
