Amazing - The visit in Petra was amazing! Guider was very attentive and friendly, explained very well and walked a good path together sharing interesting information. Also the driver was very careful. The bus is also clear and comfortable. Great attendance since book until after tour!! It would worth to spend longer time in Jordan!

Day Trip to Petra - I did the one day tour of Petra from Eilat. I usually avoid tours because of the size and rigidness of schedule but doing this trip solo was just gonna be too much of a hassle with all the touts/language barrier etc so I opted for a tour. I’m glad I did because the day was effortless and relaxing. Only pushy salespeople at Petra itself. From my hotel in Eilat I was picked up in a van along with four other participants. We were driven to the border crossing and aided by Ramzi who expedited the additional visa/exit fees, $140. From there we made our way through immigration and were met up with Fadi, our guide for the day. Here we also met up with a bus load of other participants coming from Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. It was a large group but Fadi was great. You can tell he’s passionate about his job and introducing Petra, his hometown, to us. We were told about the history of the site during our ride to Petra. There was a nice break to deprive us of some $ at a souvenir shop but that was expected. We were given about two hours at Petra this included about a 60-75 minute tour from the entrance to the Treasury by Fadi who did a wonderful job at keeping me entertained. There was about 45 mins to wander independently before meeting at Sandstone restaurant for our lunch buffet. I made it as far as the amphitheater before I turned around and headed to the resto. I think a day is sufficient at Petra unless you arrive on a day that also has the night candle entry. If so I’d stay o/n and do the night entry in the evening and come back to Petra the following day and explore it further to the monastery. Buffet lunch was ok with typical appetizers of the region and three meat dishes along with a very mushy vegetarian spaghetti entree. Only one small plastic cup of water was provided but you can purchase more beverages. Return to the border back to Israel was straightforward. We made another pit stop for a coffee/watermelon break and more souvenirs. For me the standout was Fadi, which is why I’m giving it 5/5. Otherwise, I think the tour would merit 3.5/5.

Petra from Eilat - This tour allowed us to see one of the world's most iconic landmarks. The pickup in Eilat was on time and the border crossing to Jordan was quick, we didn't have to deal with the bureaucracy, as the company representative does it all for you. Our guide Muhammad was amazing. Well done!

Highly recommend tour - Great tour if you are looking to visit Petra during your visit in Israel. If you have more time, I would suggest taking the two day tour. The operation went great, we were lucky to have an amazing guide, the site is stunning.

Best trip I've had - This tour was a remarkable experience. The guide was knowledgeable and professional, and the tour was well organized. We explored the stunning Royal tombs, Petra theater, The treasury of Petra and a few more breath taking sites. The lunch was delicious, and overall it's a highly recommended journey

Very good tour in Petra - Very good tour in the exceptional site of Petra. Very good Jordanian guide. Fast border formalities. Good meal at the end of the tour. On the other hand, lack of time on the site, the departure from Eilat should be much earlier. If you really want to visit Petra, you should plan 2 days.

Horrible, miserable, uncomfortable van ride! - Our one day Petra tour was advertised to be on a luxury bus. Instead, we were put on a small passenger van with stiff, plastic/vinyl seating that had absolutely no padding. The 3 1/2 hour ride from Tel Aviv to Eilat was miserable, as we could feel every little bump in the road (and the roads aren't smooth) and by the time we arrived, my daughter and I had excruciating back pain. We received false information about this tour, and when we asked for a partial credit to compensate us, we were offered a mere 10%, which didn't even pay for the airline flight we were forced to take back from Eilat to Petra. The Bein Harim representative I spoke with the day of the tour promised our ride back would be on a luxury bus, as promised. But, at the end of the tour it was the same small van - not the bus promised to us. Bein Harim refused to make it right. Don't book this tour!
