-
Sidi Brahim - We visit the graves and the 700-year-old mosque of Shikh Sidi Brahim.
-
Ghardaia - Next, we continue to the Ksar of Ghardaia, also known as the pearl of the oases and the capital of the M’zab Valley, organized around a hill. Here, you will see a grand mosque, considered the central and focal point around which all other elements of religious and worldly life revolve.
-
Beni Isguen - After recharging, we head to the fortified city of Beni Isguen, the most enigmatic of all the M’Zab cities. Navigate through the narrow, maze-like streets with numerous wells, archways, and passageways to a small, whitewashed old building. Also, visit the watchtower for a fantastic view of the town.
-
Beni Isguen - We conclude our tour by visiting the lively marketplace of Beni Isguen. The Criée market square is located on the outskirts of Ksar, far from the city center. It’s the best place to buy goods and souvenirs. The market opens daily just after the “Asr” prayer, except on Fridays.
