• All Patagonia - Depart from El Calafate and take Road 15, also known as “The Ranches Trail”. Along the way, it’s common to spot condors, foxes, and hares in Cerro Frías. After crossing Rio Rico, the scenery dramatically shifts to a mountainous landscape.
• Estancia Nibepo Aike - Upon arrival, the guide will greet you and take you to “El Quincho” (barbecue area) where you’ll enjoy a hot beverage (tea, coffee, or mate) with homemade pastries.
• Estancia Nibepo Aike - Tour the facilities of this typical Patagonian ranch. Hike to see the southern branch of the Argentinean Lake and discover various rocky formations shaped by glacial activity and changes in the lake’s levels. After the hike, we’ll head to the shearing barn where the entire shearing process will be explained, followed by a demonstration using traditional shearing scissors. Next, we’ll participate in a “rein test” with riders or farm laborers in the nearby stables, depending on the day’s activities.
