• Tangol El Calafate - The tour begins with a pick-up from your centrally located El Calafate Hotel (if this option is selected). The exact pick-up time will be confirmed the day before the tour.
• Perito Moreno Glacier - After picking up guests from the hotels, we will take Provincial Route N°11 to enter Los Glaciares National Park.

This extraordinary natural wonder was declared a “World Heritage Site” by UNESCO in 1981. The National Park features a landscape of mountains, lakes, and forests, with the Andes Mountains covered in ice and snow to the west and the arid Patagonian steppe to the east.

• Lago Argentino - At the “Bajo las Sombras” port, you will board a ship to cross Lago Rico, arriving at the opposite shore after a 20-minute trip, directly in front of the southern wall of the Perito Moreno Glacier.

For those who have chosen the option without transfers, this is where you will meet your guide, who will provide all necessary instructions.

• Perito Moreno Glacier - Once on land, a short 20-minute walk begins with a talk about glaciology along the lake’s shore towards the glacier.

Once on the ice, the guides will equip each participant with a pair of crampons and provide instructions on how to walk on the ice. During the approximately 1:30 hour walk on the glacier, you will see a variety of ice formations, including cracks, glacier mills, and small ponds.

The trekking difficulty is moderate. The ice surface is irregular but firm and safe. You will receive information about the flora and fauna and the unique phenomenon that occasionally causes the Perito Moreno Glacier to rupture.

• Pasarelas Perito Moreno - After the ice trek and a 20-minute boat ride back to the port, if you choose the option with transfers, the tour includes a visit to the walkways of Los Glaciares National Park.

Here, you can enjoy the stunning panoramic views of the Glacier and walk along some of the self-guided trails.

If you choose the option without transfers, the walkways are not included, and you will need to visit them on your own.

• El Calafate - In the afternoon, after visiting the walkways and taking in the beautiful views of the Glacier, we will return to our hotels in El Calafate.
