We aim to showcase the potential for regenerating previously deforested areas in the Arenal region within a short timeframe.

El Castillo
Coming from La Fortuna go west toward the volcano about 20 km. You will come to a small police booth on the right with the entrance road to the Arenal National Park of the left. From that corner just follow the signs for the Butterfly Conservatory 9 km until you arrive to the village of El Castillo.
