Stunning easy walk with amazing tour guide - Great experience thanks to Pablo and his team of amazing guides. These guys love their job and have a great sense of humour and positive energy to get you excited for the walk. They are very knowledgeable and passionate about the history and the trail it self and bring a healthy dose of dad-jokes along the way! Highly recommend booking though viator and would definitely walk the trail again!

Amazing experience! - This was a fantastic experience. Our guide was wonderful and entertaining. It always felt safe. So even if you have some fear of heights like I do, don't be afraid to do this.

A fascinating walk through an incredible landscape - The tour was very well organised. It was good that we were able to do the tour from El Chorro which meant we could catch the train from Bobadilla instead of having to drive all the way to the starting point. The tour guides were friendly and informative. They gave us interesting information about the history, geology, flora and fauna of the walk, but in short bursts so we never stopped for too long to listen. I think the stops and the information we were given made us more appreciative of the extraordinary landscape we were passing through. I don’t usually like going on guided tours but in this case I was glad we had done that. I would recommend it to anyone

A must do experience - We were welcomed at la Garganta by 4 tour guides and split up in English and Spanish groups of 30 persons. The buses took us to a stop near the North acces from where we walked 1.5 km to the gorge. Our guide Denis was funny and informative. The walk was quite easy with plenty of photo opportunities. Within 3 hours we were at the South acces from where we walked back to the Gargantas Hotel. A fantastic experience

Good if want guided tour but recommend solo - Tour guide great - can't fault her at all. Company disorganised & expensive. 3 x cost of doing solo walk (entry + shuttle bus fee). Paid extra for this company due to 9.30 start time as wanted as early as possible. Told to arrive by 9.15am then upon arrival St 9.10am told meet at 9.45am for registration, info etc. Eventually on shuttle bus at 10.10am and started walk at 11am. Much longer / slower / more expensive than if got shuttle bus alone (public every 30min & takes 20-25min). Very large tour group & not allowed to separate which is frustrating for experienced hikers & this is very very safe & easy flat walk. Overall I'd recommend doing alone (unless someone that prefers group activities ( but be prepared to book in advance. I attempted booking directly 2.5weeks early (travel november( & solo entry tickets sold but multiple tour group options. Assume solo entry is very limited to maximise group as numerous different groups on tour.

To many bookings - Love the hike and amazing . Enjoy my experience. The bad point is it was clearly over booked and it’s just a profit making event, without the Health and Wellbeing off paying customers.

Wrong idea and a lot of waiting - We loved the views but had the wrong idea what the walk would be The tour guide claudia was great and knew a lot of interesting stories and extras The rest of the walk was a lot of waiting because there were so many groups.

Tour Company was a no-show and still kept my money - Had a reservation to do El Chorro: Camininto del Rey hike on August 1, 2024. The tour was a no show due to heat of the day and we were not contacted. Note that this hike takes about 45 minutes by car to get to if staying in Malaga. When I contested the charge on my Am Ex bill, the tour company lied and said we were a no-show. Do not book with them, they will not show and scam you.

Terrible - Had the worst experience. What was paid for was not delivered and the hotel staff was snappy and non accommodating. Had to pay extra for bus service and parking, even though it was included in the package price. No service to provided and the promise of guide and supply of water was not kept. I can’t recommend this to anyone!
