A Journey into the Heart of Nature

As a seasoned surfer, I’ve spent countless hours chasing waves along the sun-drenched coasts of Central America. But every now and then, I crave a different kind of adventure, one that takes me away from the salty embrace of the ocean and into the lush embrace of the jungle. That’s exactly what led me to the El Tigrero Waterfall Circuit in El Copé, Panama.

The day began with a two-hour drive from the bustling city to the serene Omar Torrijos National Park. The journey itself was a treat, as the landscape gradually transformed from urban sprawl to verdant mountains. Our guide, Edgardo, was a fountain of knowledge, sharing stories about the park’s history and the significance of Cerro Marta, where the plane of General Omar Torrijos crashed.
