Lovley trip to the sea - We booked this trip last minute and we are so glad we did. Our driver Mohamed was great, we sat up front with him and had a lovley chat on the drive to Essaouira. He told us all about the area of Marrakech, the argan trees and the land, he was very friendly and informative. on the way we stopped off at a argan Corporation where the ladies make the argan oil, they are lovley and explained how they make the oil frlm the nuts, you can have a look around the shop at all the products they make and buy a little gift to take home. We also made a stop on the way so you can streach your legs and get a drink or something to eat its abit like a service station in the uk but the prices are not as high, it was only 15dh for a lovley cup of coffee or a fresh mint tea which they drink alot of it here and its lovley.
We arrived in Essaouira and had around 4 hours which in my opinion was plenty of time to look around the area, we stopped for some food at a restaurant called casa mounia which was lovely and tbe portions were big, i had chicken couscous and i couldn't finish it all because there was so much, it only cost 95dh. We walked threw the streets and and bought a few things, what i liked about this place is that its not as busy as the souks in the jemaa el-Ffn in marrakesh they dont hassle you or pressure you to look and buy which gives you a chance to have a propper look and see what they have to sell. We met some lovley people here, the whole area was friendly and relaxed. I would definitely recommend booking this trip.

Great day trip - Great experience, the driver was very nice and safe, we made a few short stops for snacks and to see goats along the way so the journey felt quite quick.

Tormented goats and lazy drivers - You should remove all information about the climbing goats. It has been forbidden in Morocco to continue the very cruel practice of photographing these poor animals. To allow tourists to photograph them, the goats were tied to the trees for up to 20 hours straight. To even mention them in the advertisement for the excursion is both unethical and misleading. So stop mentioning them at all. If this is not done, I will move on.
Furthermore, you should take the bus drivers by the ear. We got an email at 11 o'clock in the evening that they could not pick us up at the hotel in the morning. The bus couldn't get around because of too crowded streets. Lie and damn poem. We stayed at Riad Saba and there is a large parking lot right outside! After a lot of parlaying and an Arabic speaking call from reception they picked us up. It's so easy. It was worse on the way home. Then there was too much traffic as a reason. We were simply dumped in a completely unknown place . It was dark and in Marrakesh there are almost no street signs. We swirled around for an hour before we finally arrived at Riad Saba. This way must not continue. The driver and the guide made themselves comfortable instead of helping the customers and this is an inconvenience to be immediately curbed. Give them a proper reprimand. Customer comfort should take precedence over theirs.

Good - The transfer was very good, the driver was friendly and attentive, but the visit is very short for all the time it is on the bus.

No goats in trees - No Goats in trees.
However we saw the platforms which had been made to place the goats in the trees. The goats don’t want to stand in tree’s for hours , but are made to as a tourist attraction.
The trip is great value and the destination is worth the trip.

disappointing no excursion but simple transport - It's not a tour, it's a ride. The goats in the trees that they claim you will stop at is a lie. No goats at all!! Instead you get a stop at a boring roadside restaurant.
The air conditioning is in the bus but is absolutely not turned on. The driver opens the driver's and passenger's windows and the air conditioning button remains off. People in the back of the bus get very hot.
Driver / host tells nothing about buildings it markets you pass by. Even worst no words comes out his mouth att all. not recommended!!

Pick up and driven from... - Pick up and driven from marrakech to essaouira in complete silence, no facts or tidbits of information given. Stopped on the way to see how argan oil was made. Essaouira has its charms but not worth the 6hr drive to and fro. The beach was very quiet and almost deserted. May be this could be attributed to Ramadan?
Ate seafood at one of the restaurants on the beach. Worst meal I had in years. Tasteless, small and overpriced. Couldn't finish it because it just wasn't good. Ended up feeding my fish to the many stray cats in the area.
If you're nearer than that maybe check it out? Otherwise you're better off doing more interesting stuff in marrakech in that time.

Awful journey, uncomfortable hot minibus - Don’t go on this excursion from Marrakech. It says 10 hour excursion and a 2 hour 45 min drive to essouria, we got picked up at 8:25, arrived at 12:25 and got back to Marrakech at 20:15. Although a nice place it wasn’t worth the journey. In route the minibus had an unplanned coffee break for 15 minutes then another unplanned half hour break at an argon production place. (Not what we wanted). Then it said we’d get a shirt tour then free time. We never got a short tour. So don’t do this one day tour, if you want to go to the seaside go and stay there on another trip.
