The Amphitheater of El Jem

Amphitheatre of El Jem - Guests will be picked up from their hotel for the first stop at the Amphitheatre of El Jem. This stunning African Coliseum is a sight to behold, with insightful commentary provided by the guide.

Matmata - Upon reaching the south, visitors will explore a Berber family residing in troglodytes and the iconic Star Wars film sets. Adjacent to the famous set, lunch will be served in troglodytes, offering a unique experience for most.

Tamezret - A pause to enjoy the breathtaking view of the Berber village of Tamazret, where guests can also savor a delightful green tea with rosemary. Tama is a Berber village perched atop a hill, offering its residents a panoramic view of the desert.

Douz - Upon arrival in Douz, optional activities such as camel rides and quad biking are available. For those who opt out, there is an hour to enjoy the sunset at a café. Witness a stunning sunset over the Sahara dunes. Afterwards, guests will be transported to their 4-star hotel. There will be time to relax in the pool with a drink before enjoying a buffet dinner featuring a variety of local and international dishes.

Douz Sud - Dinner will be served in the desert, featuring local cuisine, Bedouin entertainment, and music. This meal is included. The hotel will provide accommodation and breakfast.

Chebika Oasis

Douz - After breakfast, the journey continues to Kebili, the regional capital. Guests will traverse its beautiful oasis, commercial center, and souk.

Chott El Jerid - Midway between Douz and Tozeur, guests will find themselves in the midst of the vast salt lake, Chott El Jerid, to witness a spectacular sunrise. This expansive white salt desert is flat and featureless, with just a white salt layer. A stop is essential to enjoy the breathtaking sunrise. A café in this harsh desert offers drinks, as well as salt, sand roses, and fossils.

Chebika - A guided tour of this oasis will reveal the canyon, small lakes, and waterfall. Guests should bring swimsuits for a dip in the lake amidst the canyons. Follow the water’s path under date palms laden with fruit.

Tamaghza - A visit to Temegza and its impressive waterfall is a must. This unusual and enchanting waterfall in the heart of the arid desert is a sight to behold.

Hammamet - Return to the hotel in Hammamet and its vicinity. Guests will be dropped off at their accommodation, whether it be a hotel, guesthouse, or private residence.

On Thursdays, is the livestock market in Douz (Thursday morning, so departure on Wednesdays), a great experience to see a lively souk.
Not forgetting the medina of Tozeur with its alleys and a swim in Lake Chebika. Experience the most beautiful sunrise on the salt lake, swimming in Lake Chebika when it is hot. Last visit the Great Mosque of Kairouan, a holy place of Islam.
