Unforgettable experience - Booked this tour expecting a group excursion however was Surprised it was only the two of us with our guide Ali. A very unique and VIP experience! Ali was an amazing tour guide, very knowledgeable and full of expertise. The night in the Sahara and Amphitheater were the highlights!!!

100% recommend the Sahara tour! - Absolutely loved the tour, our guide Kamel was extremely kind and knowledgable - told us so many lovely stories and facts about each site we visited. He also provided the tour in 5 languages on the day! Really impressive. The itinerary was as described, the highlights were watching the sunset in the Sahara desert and enjoying a meal under the stars. All of the food provided throughout the trip was delicious. The quad and camel rides were also very enjoyable (these will be charged extra as described in the tour details). Visiting a traditional Berber village was really lovely too. The hotel we stayed at was nice and clean, with a great breakfast the next morning - please bear in mind that you won’t be at the hotel for long, just to sleep and have breakfast the next morning. If you want to watch the sunrise on the second day then you will need to wake up very early! You will watch a beautiful desert sunset on day one but catching the sunrise the following morning is also very special. The only downside is the long journeys on the minibus, but there is no way around that as there is a large distance to cover (a sufficient number of stops are provided for coffee/toilet breaks) - ensure to bring a book or download a show to watch on your phone, you could also simply nap on the minibus during the long stretches. All-in-all, although the tour is quite tiring and covers many areas, it is 100% worth it. We are happy that we were able to visit so many beautiful parts of Tunisia and to meet lovely people. Thank you to everyone at Caravane du Sahara.

I would do it again! - The tour was really nice. My personal highlight was definitely riding the camel. Always wanted to do it & it was worth it. Also, I really enjoyed the dinner in the Sahara. That was absolutely special! Overall, you see a lot in a short time - 3 out of 4 Sahars, several Star Wars locations, you take a Cheep ride, see a beautiful waterfall, see the El Jem amphitheatre, eat dinner in the Sahara and see like the local life. The hotel we stayed in was ok. Nothing special but at the price no wonder. Be sure to take something to drink and snacks + maybe download a series... Just the return journey was very long, because you drive it almost completely (6h). Ali was very personable and open. Besides, he had a lot of background knowledge. Overall, we would recommend the ride.

To flee, it's a long time but please for your wallet read it will avoid the worst and you will save money - Then nothing goes with them, the guide does not translate, he does not speak any language quoted in their descriptions. He charges us the entrance to the Coliseum in El Jem that is 10 dinars per person saying that they will refund us once we arrive in Douz except that we have had no refund. In the desert there is no animation, it's just tents, have nothing with what's in the description. If the sun is already set when you arrive don't go there it's a scam. For the quad and the camel 🐫, in the description it is well noted that it is extra and that it is 10€ / person on the camel and 30€ on the quad except that arrived on the spot it doubles the price it was a horror. They tell you 1 hour of quad but you'll make that 15min mdr a scam their thing don't go they'll get you money and then take a commission from the seller. To finish the waterfall it's a joke you can't swim, the guide is too rushed and it's done in 5 min - 10 min max. It has nothing to do with the waterfall described on their page, nothing matches the images. A council took the excursion with the agency of your hotel or with your travel agency. You will have a real guide and you will do the activities as described. The only positive was our driver who was too kind and very protective. Thank you, sir, if you ever pass by. He's a tall, old man with a beard and gray hair. He is the only one who speaks fluent French because he lived in Paris. The others are useless and are very vicious and dishonest.
