Amazing scenery - Love it! I recommend everyone who loved nature to go in this trip! So worth it 10/10. My 11 year old nephew LOVED it. He won’t stop talking about it. If you are just be prepared to tip your person who helps you, these kids really stay by your side and treat you like a king/queen and get to know you and deserve the big tip!

Great time - My husband and I had a great time! Everyone was polite and helpful. The guides walking with us as we rode the horses were esp sweet. I hesitated getting into the waterfalls, but he was so assuring that I did it. And I am glad I did!!!

Fill dsy, lots of travel, but amazing! - Very fun experience. Be prepared for a FULL day. There is quite a bit of travel but it's worth it in the end. My horse guide asked if I had experience horseback riding and I got to trot and canter a lot of the time. It was quite fun. The lunch was delicious, the breakfast was a sandwich and fruit which was good. The steps at the waterfall, down and up, are not for the feint of heart. Be sure you have some level of physical fitness. Let's you see a lot in very little time.

Trip worth doing, but very long day. - It was a great excursion. Very long day though, we were picked up on time at 6:30am and dropped off 9:30pm. This was our first time to DR, so we got to see a lot of country side and different parts of the island. You get to do whale watching while going to Bacardi island. Barcadi island beach was beautiful, they could have made lunch there instead of Samona so we had more time to enjoy the beach, but it was a nice spot to stop. Lunch was good. Then we got to ride in an open safari truck for another hour or so to arrive where the horse ranch is. The trail to the waterfall was scary while being on the horse, as the horse slipped many times, but the guide was good. The 250 steps down to the waterfall was a trek, but my guide was very helpful to get me down safely. The waterfall is worth seeing. It's beautiful. It was a long day, but well worth the trip.

Cool experience but wouldn’t book for a few reasons - I didn’t find this experience worth the amount of money we paid, there was a lot of of people and every stop you’re being asked for tips. We were picked up very punctual at our hotel lobby then transported to a meetup point (sketchy gas station) where we waited for other groups to board a big bus. Then we headed our way to the port about two hours away, got on a boat to go whale watching then to Bacardi island which I wish we had visited last, we only had an hour here. After we met up at the pier to go get lunch and then headed towards the waterfall. The scenery is beautiful everywhere on the way. At the waterfall you’re assigned a horse and a guide which I appreciate the guide made me feel better because the path to the waterfall is rough for a beginner rider… and there’s also a little hike up and down the way which was muddy because of the rain. The guide said they volunteer to help with the horses for tips, so you will be asked for money. I thought I was being generous giving $10 each for my house and and I to our guides but we were asked for more, they said we could run our card if we had no more cash. Other people on our tour said they gave more than us and the guides asked for even more… after that you get in the safari bus to get back to the boat (supposed to be a party boat) then meetup at the gas station again to get taken back to your hotel. It’s a long day and like everyone else bring snacks and money for tips. I wish we had gone to the waterfall first and then Bacardi island and we had more time at the island. Also paid more for whale watching, I don’t think it was worth paying more just because is whale season since they ask for tips everywhere that could’ve compensated.

Great experience! Long day! - Overall I would say this was a great experience but plan for a long day. It took about 13 hours from pick up to return. We were staying in Punta Cana. The breakfast provided was a simple meat and cheese sandwich and fruit so if that doesn’t sound good to you- plan to eat breakfast before you leave. Lunch was a nice blend of foods including fruit, rice, noodles, beans, and meat. Take snacks and some water for the day because you will likely miss dinner time. There are a lot of forms of transportation throughout the day and things were coordinated well. You go from transport van, to boat, to transport bus (like a safari bus), to horse to get to the waterfall and then back to get home. This experience gives you a much better view of the island than what you will see staying in the resorts. I was grateful for that.

Great trip once we got to the excursion - I gave this 3 stars for two reasons. The trip is 2 hours to where we catch the boat to Samana. We were the first ones on the bus so it was really 3 hours. By the time we went 3 hours - we asked the guy to stop to go to the bathroom. He refused and said we should have told him. He didn’t even tell us anything about where we were going or what we doing. We didn’t know. Once we got to the boat dock, the tour guide told us what to expect. The rest of the trip was awesome - beach, horse back riding and waterfall. Beautiful! It was a long day - from 6am-8 pm. It would have been better if we knew what to expect (description) and the driver wasn’t mean.

Don’t book these sketchy excursions! They will charge u an insane price & treat u like 💩 on top it - You’re better off finding a way to get to this waterfall on your own than paying these guides they will rip you off insanely! Too expensive, extremely crowded, smelled like horse 💩, food they offered was a joke as part of the package was a joke!
