A heartwarming and exhilarating experience - a memory not to forget - What an incredible experience! Salvador is an incredible host. His horseback riding operation is a small, warm-hearted, family-like atmosphere that consists of students, guests, horses, cats, dogs, chickens and pigs. From the moment you arrive, Salvatore makes you feel at home. Coffee, tea and delicious sweets (alfajores, I think) are served outdoors while the horses are made ready. You will be matched to horse that suits your skill level and size and everything is done at an easy pace to make sure everyone is comfortable. Salvador is a warm-hearted and personable, easy going soul - he is head goucho, master BBQ chef, and tour guide as he takes people of all ages through the Sierra foothills on beautiful horses. The horses are used to the trail, so the riding is interesting but relaxing. The hills offer a wide variety of scenery/greenery and there are several lookoffs with expansive and incredible views. Lunch was a a delicious BBQ, salad, some beer, followed by tea and more sweets, with a good number of languages thrown into the mix (Spanish, French and English). After lunch, we took a short siesta/rest in the hammocks and then we had another great ride in the afternoon. What a wonderful day overall. Salvador deserves top marks and I highly recommend this lovely experience.

Super experience and great value! - Wonderful and authentic gaucho experience. Salvador picked the right horse for me on the first day. I enjoyed everything so much I stayed for 4 days. Interesting trails, sound horses, really good food and best of all, you feel like family by the time you leave. 100% recommend this experience for beginners to experienced, and aside from the riding there are cows to milk, chickens, geese, dogs, and the total ranch experience even if you don’t want to ride.

10/10 RECOMMEND - As every other review suggests, I can not recommend this experience enough. If you are looking for an authentic Argentine experience with wonderful hospitality, this is the experience for you. It was just my friend and I on the ranch with Salvador, his son Alvaro, and his two friends Juan & Sofa. All four of them were extremely friendly and accommodating. The horses were well trained and easy to ride for two people who have very little to no experience whatsoever. We had a delicious lunch composed of wine, asado, chorizo, and a fresh garden salad literally picked and gathered in front of our eyes. They also make their cheese from their own cow's milk. The asado and chorizo was some of the best I've ever had in my life (and I've had quite a lot lol). After lunch we went for a second ride in the pouring down rain and it was one of the most majestic experiences that I have ever had. 10/10 RECOMMEND

What a Birthday Treat!!! - Truly one of the best days of my 70 years!! It was my birthday, and they bent over backward to make everything extra special - - even got me a candle on a "cake!!" The food was excellent, the animals all beautiful & healthy, the horses a dream to ride... the generosity over the top.

Brilliant authentic experience - My partner and I chose Salvador based on reviews read online and we were not disappointed! Salvador is quite the character and we all quickly became friends, laughing and joking. The horses were so well cared for and the riding was lovely, very peaceful. We then had a big asado (BBQ!) and lots of Salvador's family joined which was great, as we got to chat with them. Even though this was a 'tour', the experience felt extremely authentic and natural and it was a pleasure to spend the day and night on Salvadors farm. Thanks for a brilliant visit! Sarah & Benn

Something special - I think we will never forget our day with Salvador and his "chicos". We had a great day on his ranch, observing animals, doing horse riding (for the first time), eating delicious food, talking. This experience is very different from most of the touristy excursions. Time seems to pass slowly, you enjoy the landcape and hospitality. With Salvador, you feel at home and you have a lot of fun too. We were treated like kings I think! Also, you will get to know much on the life of local people. What is more, observing the animals (cows, hens, pigs etc.) is a great escape from the city. We The horses are very calm, nice and you don't have to be afraid of them. The ride is perfect, beautiful and somehow peaceful. Thank you, Salvador! I hope to see you again!

Lovely - Salvador is an incredible guide and host! His farm is beautiful in a secluded part of the Sierras with energetic and adorable animals. His dogs won our hearts over as we pet them and played with them. He has such gorgeous horses and our horseback riding had no problems. It was peaceful scenery and an amazing and fun time riding the horses. The meal was real, authentic, asado made in an outdoor woodfire oven. It was the best meat I ever had and Salvador really opened his countryside home to us. Highly recommend for those seeking unique experiences in Cordoba, Argentina!!
