El Nido Tour D - Spectacular Views - El Nido Tour D offered spectacular scenery at two lagoons. Please note that Kayak rental costs 300 pesos per lagoon, we paid 600 pesos in total. The tour guide at CTPH tours was helpful and the boat captain and chefs prepared a very nice lunch. However please heed this warning, Snorkel Rental is available from El Nido bay at a costs of 100 pesos per mask. We rented two masks and returned both washed and in great condition. Upon returning the masks, my partner and I were followed off the beach by the family of woman who headed up the rental stall. After several minutes, the husband in the group proceeded to argue with me and explain that my partner and I had broken a mask which was not true in the slightest (the woman even thanked us on return to the stall for the returning the masks and checked them). The woman then proceeded to ask us for 1000 pesos for the damaged mask, and insisted her English was not good enough to understand our insistence that the masks were returned in very good condition. We had to become fairly aggressive in order to stop the family from hounding my partner and I for my money. The husband then retired from the claim and eventually we were left alone, it was not a very nice experience. So please take this a caveat when renting masks!
