Cairo International Airport Road - Arrival at Cairo airport. Our representative will welcome and assist you through passport control formalities, luggage identification, and portage. Transfer by a private A/C car to your hotel and overnight stay in Cairo.

Pyramids and Sphinx

Pyramids of Giza - Breakfast.

Tour begins with a visit to the Great Pyramids - Cheops, Chephren & Mykerinus. Next, get a close-up look at the Sphinx - a massive funeral complex guarded by the legendary lion body with the face of King Chephren, then visit the Valley Temple.

Lunch at a restaurant near the Pyramids (at your own expense).

Free time follows. Overnight at the hotel.

Alexandria

Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa - Breakfast. Check out of the hotel, store luggage in the hotel safety box, then drive to Alexandria to visit the Library, Catacombs, Pompey’s Pillar, and Citadel. Enjoy a seafood lunch, then drive back to Cairo. Transfer to Cairo station to catch the sitting train to Luxor.

(Optional upgrade to sleeper train).

Luxor

Valley of the Kings - Arrive in Luxor, transfer to the hotel, then tour the West Bank of Luxor, visiting the Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut, and Colossi of Memnon.

Free time in the city.

(Optional sound and light show at Karnak Temple).

Overnight at the hotel.

Luxor

Karnak Open Air Museum - (Optional hot air balloon over the West Bank of Luxor).

Breakfast and check out of the hotel.

(Optional felucca trip for two hours).

Later that afternoon, another tour to the East Bank of Luxor, visiting Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple.

In the evening, catch the overnight sitting train back to Cairo.

Egyptian Museum - Citadel - Old Cairo

The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - Arrive in Cairo, transfer to the hotel, and check-in. Our city tour starts with the Egyptian Museum, where most of the fabulous treasures of the pharaohs are kept, then drive to the Citadel, which was home to most of Egypt’s rulers for nearly 700 years. Later, explore many attractions of Old Coptic Cairo, such as the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue (The Jewish Temple). Overnight at the hotel.

Departure

Cairo International Airport Road - Farewell to Egypt as our tour ends today after breakfast. Transfer to Cairo International Airport.
