Kayetbai - Qaitbay Citadel is considered one of the most important defensive fortifications on the Mediterranean coast. It was built on the ruins of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria to fortify the city.

Pompey’s Pillar - Pompey’s Pillar was built in honor of Emperor Decaldianus. The total height of the column, including the base, is about 2,685 metres. On the west side are two bases, which can be reached via an underground staircase. There are also two pink granite statues that look like sphinxes.
