Highlights
  • Pyramids of Giza - Begins at 8:00 am with a pickup from your hotel in Cairo or Giza by a tour guide. Start your full-day tour visiting the Giza Pyramids, including the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. Then, visit the Valley Temple where the priests mummified King Chephren’s body. Here, you’ll also get a close-up view of The Sphinx, the legendary guardian with a lion’s body and the head of King Chephren.

  • Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - The only completely preserved portrait of the king is a three-inch high ivory figurine found in a temple ruin at Abydos in 1903. All other reliefs and statues were found in fragments, and many of Khufu’s buildings are lost. Everything known about Khufu comes from inscriptions in his necropolis at Giza and later documents. For instance, Khufu is the main character noted in the Westcar Papyrus from the 13th dynasty.

  • Khafre’s Pyramid - Khafre’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple yielded several statues of Khafre, some found in a well in the temple floor by Mariette in 1860, and others during later excavations by Sieglin (1909–10), Junker, and Reisner.

  • Menkaure Pyramid - Menkaure’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple once housed several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added to the valley temple. The mortuary temple also yielded several statues of Menkaure.

  • Great Sphinx - Then, view the Sphinx, the legendary guardian with a lion’s body and the head of King Chephren, standing by the vast funeral complex.

  • Giza Plateau - The Giza Plateau (Arabic: هضبة الجيزة) is a limestone plateau in Giza, Egypt, home to the Fourth Dynasty Giza pyramid complex, which includes the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, the Great Sphinx, several cemeteries, a workers’ village, and an industrial complex. It is the northernmost part of the 16,000 ha Pyramid Fields in the Western Desert edge of the Nile Valley, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Memphis and its Necropolis.

  • Panoramic view of the Pyramids - Discover the timeless wonder of the ancient pyramids with our Panoramic view tour. Marvel at the majestic structures from all angles and take in the breathtaking beauty of these iconic landmarks. • The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - Continue your day tour to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. It showcases the largest and most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world, with over 250,000 genuine artifacts dating back as far as 5000 years. The museum includes an exclusive exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamun, featuring treasures, gold, and jewelry that were buried in his tomb for over 3,500 years before being discovered in the 1920s.

  • Khan Al-Khalili - Visit the Khan El Khalili Bazaar, where numerous shops are known for trading fine brassware, copper, perfumes, leather, silver, gold, antiques, and much more.

The tour concludes with a drop-off at your hotel in Cairo.
