Once in a lifetime activity - Absolutely worth it! We visited as a couple and it was so fun to learn how to ride a horse and then gallop through the incredible beach nearby. This was easily the most memorable part of the trip because I also loved how calm and lovely my horse was.
A few tips:
- USE THE SHUTTLE! This location is a bit out of the way, but the shuttle service was amazing about timely pickup and drop off. We chose to Uber for the rest of our Cabo trip, but this was the one area out of the Ubering radius, so we were happy this shuttle service existed.
- If this is your first time riding a horse, be careful! Horses are very intelligent and sensitive creatures. If you are nervous or lose control of your horse, you will scare them. If you are used to any animals in your life (have a dog or cat or other pet), the same logic applies. We had never ridden horses but have a kitty at home, so we knew how to assure the horses and work with them pretty easily. Be gentle and be measured with your movements. This is a safe activity overall, but the trainer won’t spend TOO long giving you instructions. So if you’re generally afraid of animals or easily nervous, this may not be the activity for you.

Emmanuel, Eduardo, and Alejandro are a star studded team - First, take advantage of the shuttle pickup. You won't need to worry about finding the place or parking. Alejandro the driver became a friend. He is very knowledgeable, he actually helped me find just the right spot to go to for dinner that night, MarÃa Corona! I told him that I was in the mood for mole. It's the best place to get mole in Cabo. I can't thank him enough. I had a blast.
Second, 2PM is the best time slot. I went for a 2 hour ride. I was on the beach as the sun was setting. The photos came out great.
Third, Emmanuel is very funny and a great teacher. Riding is intuitive so, just go for it! I felt confident on my ride and glad he was easy to talk to. I would like to go again.
Lastly, Eduardo is a great photographer. He made it fun! He followed along the trail on his 4-wheeler, but gave us space. He even took shots from different locations to get just the right shot. My pictures came out better than expected. I got about 200 photos. Worth every peso!

Best Horseback-Riding Experience! - My daughter and I had such a nice time riding horses on the beach and through the desert. I liked that this company had smaller groups, and we ended up having a private tour for just the two of us. This was our first time on horseback, and our guide was incredibly patient and kind to my 10-year-old daughter, who was a nervous about her first riding experience. The transportation to and from the hotel was included in the cost of the tour, and communication with the tour operator was excellent. Highly recommend!

A nice treat on an overcast day - Everybody was terrific. The gentleman who picked us up, the gentleman who greeted us at the ranch, the guide, the bartender…all so friendly! We were alone on our ride with our guide. I have more experience than my fella so we all went at my fella’s pace. What’s really cool is that the guide felt his horse wasn’t feeling well about 3/4 way through the ride so we stopped and a couple of others from the ranch brought an ATV for the guide to lead us back on. It must have been THE most boring ride for him, but I was impressed that he didn’t want to force his horse to keep going if it was ailing. They seemed to take good care of their horses. The ride itself went along a dirt road by a highway, then cut through some village areas where there were older communities plus construction of some high end places. Lots of cacti, flowers, trees, and of course the beach. Very good experience.

Memorable - The horseback experience itself was Great. The guide was very helpful & friendly. I enjoyed that he gave background history on the area & beach itself. My only suggestion is to book transportation separately or be prepared to wait on the shuttle. There was a big delay in terms of pickup and waiting around. Otherwise this was def a pleasant experience! Pic attached

Horseback Riding Experience - Beautiful experience with stunning views. The only issue was transportation - they were 15 minutes late and upon arriving and leaving the excursion water was not offered.

Beautiful views, but took forever and customer service was meh - My son loves horses so we've done a lot of trail rides in various places (Colorado, Santa Barbara, Costa Rica, etc.). This was probably the worst one. Don't get me wrong, the views of the beach and desert were beautiful and made it worth doing, but we weren't thrilled with this particular company. First, we were picked up at 10:30 at our hotel. Our driver was friendly and said he had to pick up other groups at two other resorts. This took much longer than we expected and the driver, while friendly, drove like a maniac. We didn't get to the riding site until 12:00, then we had to wait another hour or so before we actually hit the trail. We told our guide that we had ridden before, but were not experts at all. He didn't even give us a refresher about the basics of riding. The first and last parts were along a busy highway, so it wasn't very scenic. The ride was over two hours long and our guide didn't suggest a break, only took pics of us at a scenic overlook on the beach. The pics came out nicely. The horses didn't get any water the entire time, which I found unusual since it was hot and dry. Our guide didn't check on how we were doing, just stopped and looked back and gave us a thumbs up once in a while. My horse and my husband's fought and my saddle became lopsided about 2 hours into the ride, so I was very uncomfortable at the end and desperate for the bathroom. The description says water is included, but we had to pay for it. Tequila tasting at the end was free, though. We didn't get back to our hotel until almost 5:00 pm, so it was a MUCH longer day than we expected. It was also more expensive than any other ride we've done before.

Pick somewhere close - The ride was fine but having to wait an hour for the jeep excursion to return and then being dropped off a hour later was not fun

Beautiful place to ride but operation not the greatest - Late pick up. Fairly dilapidated facilities. Where horses were had glass and broken tiles on ground. One horse was laggard to which ride leader was inattentive. On plus side wife had good horse. Beach was spectacular and staff was pretty friendly.
